My wi-fi was terrible. Got a few different router/modem/extenders over the past year that never really helped. I got the nighthawk and now my internet is sooo much faster, much stronger signal and it broadcasts out to the perimeter of my yard (acre).

I was hesitant because it's $200 at best buy, but they matched a price from amazon and it has been well worth it.

The Amazon Echo Speaker

Not the best blutooth speaker sound quality wise but the most functional. We have a couple of these through out the house and we absolutely love them. Telling the speaker what to play, add things to our shopping list, order things from amazon, it interacts with pandora, iheart, etc etc. When they were $99 I felt it was an absolute steal, even at the new price of $179 I think its a great value. These things are only going to get better as well.

I got a new router recently. Looked at that router, but ended up getting the TP-Link Archer C9 - a lot less $ for identical features.

Do we have a master page set up showing all products?

This thread is getting big.
I suggested this about 15 pages back but nothing yet  paging Mad Cow
That sounds like a crap-ton of work. I could look at doing that but would restrict it to items linked only. I ain't listing categories of stuff like SSD's which many already know about.
I expect a DETAILED breakdown of the 1.5 pages of dishwasherchat™

Yes. Very easy to setup. Hardest part was having to call my provider (Comcast) to have them bypass the router in the modem.

Ok I started the list. I will organize this list and break it down into categories and then start an "official" FBG Approved Products thread. From here on out please do a better job with your items name/link and a description to make this easier in the future

I shopped bluetooth speakers for a few weeks leading up to a "guy's trip" where I wanted something we could play out on the deck of the house we rented for the weekend. I was all but set on the JBL (huge JBL fan) after also liking the Amazon products. Went to Best Buy to pick up the JBL (with Amazon price matching) and thought it sounded like complete butt. Auditioned a few others in the price range and settled on a Sony one ($98 here, but was only $70 at Best Buy) which sounded oodles better than the JBL. Love this thing.

Yes. Very easy to setup. Hardest part was having to call my provider (Comcast) to have them bypass the router in the modem.
What model? My Apple router is the suck.

Router I just got.

Just ordered another Samsung 500GB EVO SSD for the MacBook Pro. Gonna pull out the CD/DVD Burner and replace it with another Hard drive since I never use the damn thing. CD Drive = Floppy Drive = Stegosaurus

MOAR STORAGE! NOMNOMNOM
Swap done.

Couldn't have been easier. Drop new drive in OWC Data Doubler Bracket. Open macbook pro, 2 screws to loosen speaker, 3 screws to remove optical drive. Spudger to release ribbon cables. Swap over cable housing and mounting bracket (2 screws). Drop OWC bracket with New drive in it's place, reconnect everything and close the laptop up. Maybe a 15 minute job if you're taking your time.

The one I got is linked 3 posts up in this quote block. I don't know anything about the router that Mad Cow got, but I had tried a couple others before getting the Netgear Nighthawk R7000. The difference is remarkable.

HUGE fan of these MFi Certified Lightning Cables for charging iPhones. We have 5 iPhones and a few iPads in our house so we are always needing charging cables. Many non-apple cables have had issues in the past being unsupported, but we've bought a bunch of Anker cables recently and they all work flawlessly.

Some things that I've taken away from buying them:

1) don't overlook getting the longer (6') cables... make charging away from your desk convenient

2) try the nylon cables for use when traveling or in car... tend to kink less and prolongs life

Do you have a wireless printer and, if so, have you experienced any of the problems described earlier in the thread between this router and printers?

I do not have it hooked up to wifi. Sorry

If it doesn't already exist, I think YETI may need its own thread. Every truck in Texas seems to have a sticker (and a cooler). All the HS kids have a hat.. etc etc. Its out of control.

My wife got a couple large tumblers for free from where she works. Our pool is west-facing and bakes in direct sun - ALL DAY. Floating in the pool for several hours and the ice cubes weren't even melting. Did get more drunk more quickly though - no dilution of the drinks.

It depends where you live.

Just spent a week in Florida, and the coozie was freaking phenomenal.

We packed up our (non Yeti) ice chest and the ice was melted halfway through the day. My friends who fish and have YETIs swear by them (keep ice cool for days in the harshest conditions.
