Maybe DeMeco Ryans is thinking he'll get Will Anderson at #2, and get ARich later.
Could be a team changing draft.

I can see that. And possibly trade up from #12 if they think someone ahead of them will grab Richardson first.Maybe DeMeco Ryans is thinking he'll get Will Anderson at #2, and get ARich later.

I bought some chap stick just in case.Lots of cows up here. Looking forward to this!Like I said somewhere during this draft season, I'll kiss every cows butt in Minnesota (not traveling to Texas) if they draft AR.So much conflicting info. I get everyone has sources but those sources often don’t really know what’s going on. Could be an area scout who wrote a glowing report and got good feedback on it from scouting director. That doesn’t mean it’s the way the GM will go. There’s other scouts, coaches, owners, etc
That's his thread. His Irsay quote about Jalen Hurts was super interesting. If Irsay wants the next Jalen, he's probably getting him.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport believes the Seahawks and Vikings could be the most likely landing spots for Florida QB Anthony Richardson if he falls outside the top 10.
Richardson has been connected to the Seahawks for a while now, but Rapoport does not believe they would pull the trigger at No. 5 overall, and that their second selection at No. 20 is more likely. The Vikings, meanwhile, seem to finally be considering life after Kirk Cousins. Minnesota would be a perfect spot for Richardson to learn on the job for a season instead getting thrown immediately into the fire after making only 13 college starts. It remains quite possible, of course, that Richardson does not escape the top 10, or perhaps the top 11 with the Titans picking at No. 11.

I don't see him getting past TN at 11 if they stay there.NFL Network's Ian Rapoport believes the Seahawks and Vikings could be the most likely landing spots for Florida QB Anthony Richardson if he falls outside the top 10.

Colts selected Florida QB Anthony Richardson with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Richardson will battle Gardner Minshew for Indy's starting quarterback job in 2023. A 2018 redshirt, Levis (6’4/229) spent two years behind Sean Clifford at Penn State before transferring to Kentucky and thriving under future (and now former) Rams OC Liam Coen in 2021. Then Coen went pro and Levis experienced some senior year regression, though not enough to remove him from the first-round mix. Highly athletic with big-time arm strength, Levis makes tight-window throws but sails others due to shoddy mechanics. Levis too often loses his base, leading to air mails. Missing Coen and dealing with a poor supporting cast, Levis’ decision-making was frequently questionable in 2022. He also wasn’t the weapon he was near the goal line as a redshirt junior, though Levis still profiles as a short-yardage load in the pros. Elderly for a first-round pick — he turns 24 in June — Levis isn’t as projectable as you would like on Day 1, but his prototypical size and varied physical tools make him an intriguing gamble.

What are the odds @JohnnyU just hit "Buy" on a Richardson jersey?
I kid brother, I think your team just landed a potential monster. Wish he fell to the Raiders.

Yes but his awesomeness is awesome. His mechanics are awful. I hope like hell they can fix him. Otherwise, Ballard is gone. What are the odds @JohnnyU just hit "Buy" on a Richardson jersey?

easy to cut and paste links. He has the most upside, I like it.
Faust is the man!
He’s going to be exciting either way. I’d have preferred he went to a team I’m ambivalent about but he’ll be fun to watch.I'll eat my crow. Now I have to get onboard. I just watched the Ky / Florida game again and he was awful. I mean awful. I hope they can fix him.
He will be a fantasy monster IF he's on the field because of his rushing ability. How long? It's a BIG IF.He’s going to be exciting either way. Yeah, I’m more concerned about the real teams. Our rival either got awesome or will struggle. He will be a fantasy monster IF he's on the field because of his rushing ability. How long? Yep.Fantasy wise, this is an excellent fit, and Richardson should be the 1st QB off the board in dynasty.
I tried to get him in both of my leagues & the shareholders wouldn’t bite.My 1 Alec Pierce share is happy
I agree. But in 1QB leagues, where does he now fall? late 1st or early 2nd?This was one of those picks, where I get it, but I also don't get it. Indy needed a QB, and Richardson is such a great runner, that he can be valuable even if his passing doesn't really improve much. However, it also feels like reaching for a need. I would assume Richardson starts over Minshew week 1, and there is a ton of read option with him and Taylor.

The Shane Steichen factor finally pushed me over the edge.
If he can turn ARich into a 240 lb Hurts, the Colts are gonna get super interesting in a hurry.
I'm done making predictions regarding AR, but I would think he will sit the bench for awhile.

I would like to see a few Mocks on that to get an idea...
I’m mixed on this - on the one hand, I immediately dealt for Minshew in the league I’m taking ARich, just in case (was fortunate to be on a livecast with the Minshew owner, who’s rebuilding & didn’t care about him).I'm done making predictions regarding AR, but I would think he will sit the bench for awhile.

On the other hand, you don’t pay 1.04 for a guy to ride the bench in most cases. Colts probably aren’t riding Minshew to a SB this year, so OTJ training might be the best thing for ARich. Getting reps under his belt without a ton of pressure and all that.
Imma give it a 70% chance that ARich is behind center for game 1.
I like him a lot in 1QB leagues and would absolutely consider taking him in the top 10. I want boom-bust, highest upside possible fantasy scoring QBs. Low end starters or even mid-level #2 QBs are a dime-a-dozen and don't usually cost much to trade for in my leagues. Top notch studs are expensive, super sexy and get everyone's panties soaking wet. That ARich baby!I'd take him in the top-10.I agree. But in 1QB leagues, where does he now fall? late 1st or early 2nd?This was one of those picks, where I get it, but I also don't get it. Slightly regretting trading him away, but got Garrett Wilson in the deal soMy 1 Alec Pierce share is happy
Stephen Holder @HolderStephen
Spent some time w Anthony Richardson during the scouting combine.
What struck me most was how humble he was. No ego whatsoever, despite his position and status. That quality should serve him well as he has a lot of growth still to do.
You’re really gonna love this guy.
Chris Shepherd @NFLScheme
Anthony Richardson coaching high school QB's is the clip #Colts fans need to see today.
Like the pick or not, it's going to be impossible to root against this guy.
Irsay floating the idea of drafting Levis tonight. Happy hour started an hour ago in Indiana, apparently.
