Man All or Nothing made me love this guy. I always thought people who disliked him were overreacting to a few things about him that triggered them--his ridiculous fashion, his healthy ego, leftover controversy from his college years. But what a good dude. Want him to win a SB now.

Either way, a best case of "a few weeks", and possibly a much worse "a few months" if it is a Lisfranc. Those are tricky though, some come back faster than others.
Regardless, this is big news with those targeting Cam in their drafts, even as a best case, he has to slide down a few notches, unless it comes out tomorrow its not serious.

Reportedly his shoulder has looked great.
fortunately, he doesn’t throw with his ankle.
I still like him at his ADP.

Agreed, he is as cheap as they come, when it could well develop into a league winner.
B-U-T , if it affects his rushing and takes away some of his goal line plunges, that I don't want any part of him this year.
Sure this is a quick reaction (Over reaction maybe???) but lets face it, there's plenty of QBs this year we can grab.
I hate saying QB is "deep" like other monkeys who over use this term, but QB, well............... QB is NOT a shallow position this season.

But he does run with it. As a QB that gets a lot of his value from his wheels, this could slow him down. It's probably nothing, but it's definitely worth keeping an eye on and if I'm drafting in the next few days, I'll knock him down a few slots.Reportedly his shoulder has looked great.

Well I never minded referring to any of my exes as "moist", but thats uh a little different.
Thats my point about QBs. There are plenty we can "get by" with. Part of that is if you choose to truly wait late into drafts, the hope is you want to be happy and LOADED with talent at the other skill positions. (acquiring other strong RBs and WRs with the earlier pick you "would" have spent on a QB, in theory)
Many analysts don't quite it break it down as often as they should. The guys in my leagues are quick to "adjust" and if you aren't careful you can find yourself starting someone at QB you aren't happy with, or even worse, you have someone you aren't truly happy with at QB, AND things don't exactly fall your way at the other positions too. It can happen, and my biggest draft last year went exactly like this, and I learned a long slow lesson about trotting out less than stellar QBs......and a few of my other players didn't do as I had hoped for. But thats another story.

Just kidding, but I'm looking to order a couple cases like I did last year, once things die down here in a couple weeks. (I even won a bottle or two in his FG contest last year, or the year prior, can't remember) You going to do that again this season? I'm in if so.
NOTE TO THE OTHER MEMBERS HERE - His hot sauce is legit. Plenty of flavors, and all the types I tried were good. You won't be disappointed if you order some.

Maybe it was just a bad week one. Maybe his shoulder is good and he's not going to have issues throwing deep. But if he's also not going to run as much in order to protect his shoulder, that's a decent amount of his value going away, no? I'm nervous about that part and thinking I may want to get off this wagon while there are still a couple decent QBs on the wire.

Guy was injured last year and performed poorly trying to play through it, arguably the main reason why the team collapsed down the stretch.
Still looks like he's battling shoulder issues, and now this foot injury.
I feel for him as he's trying to be a warrior, but would be very nervous that we're about to see a repeat of last year.
Hard to drop him, but if there are meaningful options on the wire, I would be definitely thinking about it.

Couple years ago Cam had a terrible first few weeks and went on to tear it up the rest of the year.
Not saying I'm not concerned, but no way am I getting off this ride so soon.
If he looks horrible tonight I may be looking at picking up a #2, but even if he does I'm not letting him go that easily.

If you look back thru this thread you will see other seasons where Cam started slowly then broke out. I think the staff needs to let Cam do Cam, meaning encouraging him to run and get physical. If it means a shorter career, so what? The Cam they are getting now is not winning QB play.

yeah, without running he's an awful QB. CAR needs to tell him to run whenever the opportunity presents itself. He'll never be a good passing QB with his shoulder injury.

Heard Rivera justify not running Cam at the GL at the end of the game and on 4th and 1 earlier due to preserving him for the season. While I won't say that they were bad decisions I will say the plays they called in lui of running Cam were at best sub optimal.
At this point Cam doesn't seem 100% "right", I see a lot of people saying he's toast, I'm not ready to say that but something's off at this point, hopefully he can turn it around.

They tried to change how he throws the ball. They don't let him run anymore. I think that's what is not right. I think it's too much in his head the non running restrictions. I have a feeling they will change course and let him do his thing and we'll see the old Cam again.
