So doubtfully true

“Ward zipped a bullet that turned heads on his very first snap of 7-on-7, finding fellow rookie Gunnar Helm on a route over the middle. The ball split two defenders and went right to Helm, who caught it in stride. It was a glimpse of what Titans personnel no doubt saw in Ward that made them take him No.1 overall. Ward had a few other throws that were impressive as well as his quick release was very noticeable.”
I wanna see it all.I need to see some scrimmage-y 11 on 11 stuff.
Looking wow in drills is wearing on me. I've got the let's see him do it in a game vibe building
Easton Freeze
Cam Ward has been coming in at 5am, and then having to be kicked out of the building some nights.
I asked Titans HC Brian Callahan how you manage a singularly-focused player like him:
It’s funny how when just about anyone does it, it’s “reckless” and “a bad habit they need to fix”.The more people talk about the occasional sidearm, the more I wonder why everyone doesn't do it.
You've got a huge man in front of you and have to get the ball from a to b.
It doesn't seem outlandish at all.
Not to go too far off rails in the Ward thread, but Stafford was also doing that and no look passes while still in Detroit and never seemed to get the credit Mahomes did for it. Feel like he's been terminally underrated most of his career. It’s funny how when just about anyone does it, it’s “reckless” and “a bad habit they need to fix”.The more people talk about the occasional sidearm, the more I wonder why everyone doesn't do it.

But when Mahomes does it, he’s “a brilliant improviser” and “able to make crazy throws to get it done”.
I think there's a big difference with him in terms of dynasty vs redraft. Guys with weapons like Stroud and Daniels didn't have such a difference, but Ward doesn't seem like a guy who ends up as a top 15 fantasy QB this year, but will every year after that. He’s being slept on massively for fantasy IMO. I’m loving everything that I’ve watched and am reading about his work ethic, drive, and leadership qualities. The Titans need to add some weapons for him, but people are treating him like he’s a quarterback without upside.
I invested in JJM last year and Ward this year (2 different leagues)I think there's a big difference with him in terms of dynasty vs redraft. “Ward's best pass of the day was a 50-yard strike to receiver Calvin Ridley, who caught the ball in stride. He improvised on another play, lateraling the ball back to running back Tony Pollard while on the move. Ward threw a bullet across the middle to Xavier Restrepo, and he hit receiver Van Jefferson in stride down the field in 7-on-7.”
Will Boling
Cam Ward read the blitz, made a check at the line, got Ridley one-on-one and delivered this bomb perfectly.
Impressive for anyone. Especially for a rookie in his first minicamp.
One of the best plays I’ve seen from him so far.

Cam Ward is gonna be a really good QB in the league.

Titans rookie stud QB Cam Ward completed EIGHTEEN passes in a row yesterday
It’s fantastic.Theres a special on Tubi about his upbringing and not being a highly recruited athlete. It's named zero star
Thank you sir. Grateful for the info. That's why this is my only choice among FF forums. It’s fantastic.Theres a special on Tubi about his upbringing and not being a highly recruited athlete. It's named zero star
His story is remarkable. I traded Tee Higgins + a 2026 2nd to get pick 1.02 in a 12-team SF where I’m stacked everywhere but QB. (The team with 1.02 & 1.03 traded me on the condition I wouldn’t take Hampton).Thank you sir. Grateful for the info. This sounds really encouraging. You know that all these athletes have to have somewhat of a work ethic matter how gifted they are. But to have a drive to be the best inseparable from the rest of the pool of players at the cost this young man has shown is rare. You definitely got my attention, thank you.His story is remarkable. I paid that because of his story - he has worked harder than any player I’ve ever heard of besides Jerry Rice to get to where he is today.
Nothing he’s done since being drafted has changed my opinion of him - reports are all solid regarding his work ethic. I’m extremely optimistic about him. He’s the most underrated 1.01 QB in FF ever. In SF he really should have been in play for 1.01, but Jeanty got all the love.
I have him right there with JJM, and honestly if not for KOC & the receiving talent, I’d put him above JJM. And I’m very high on JJM.
Plus he was a 0 star recruit and worked to become the 1.01This sounds really encouraging. You know that all these athletes have to have somewhat of a work ethic matter how gifted they are. I think he’s less ARich/Fields & more competent passer in the pocket - from what I’ve seen, while he is athletic and can clearly run, he uses his legs more to scramble & buy time ala Mahomes.Having done a lot of research on Ward yet, but what do folks think of his rushing upside? From a fantasy standpoint, that’s going to be the key.

I don’t want to draw that comparison because he’s a rookie and that would be absurd, but when watching him roll out and improvise that’s what came to mind. Buying time & finding open players - it’s a skill and he has it.
He had 30 rushing TDs across 5 seasons, .48 TD/game, which is pretty impressive. But I don’t believe he’s a rushing cheat-code type QB.
he just went 1.03 in my 10 team start 2 QB dynasty league an hour ago. the first 3 picks all swapped hands last night. before that, I was almost for sure getting Ward at 1.04. I had to settle for Hampton.I’m in a 10 man start 2 QB league with the rookie draft fast approaching. I don’t necessarily need QB on this team at all(Purdy, Stroud, Penix, Geno) but I really feel like there’s a 50/50 shot he’s there for me at the 1.10. It would have to be an auto pick for me. I like the kid, and I honestly think he’s being slept on quite a bit right now. I know Tennessee isn’t a great team(I’m a Titans fan lol) but while I expect early growing pains, I really think he’s going to turn into a good pro and the franchise QB this team so desperately needs.
I wouldn’t at all be surprised if this time next year he’s a top 8 dynasty QB. Like I said, it’s probably going to be rough sledding early. But I think he’s going to eventually get it figured out.
Superflex? While I love Tet at 1.03 and Hunter if you get IDP points, Ward needs to be in consideration at that spot. His draft spot variability has been super high. Seems to be going anywhere from 1.03 to 1.08.I also have the 1.03. Deciding between Judkins/Hunter/Tet. Jeanty and Hampton will go 1/2.
We don't draft until late August so hopefully training camps can help me with the decision.
This is the kind of thing I love to see. Sure, it comes off as a little cliche, but I’d rather hear a fiery competitor than someone who sounds entitled.
