I hear you but there's quite a drop off after 15. I thought the biggest problem for the Raiders has been thier inconsistent defense?
Carr has never been their biggest problem.
If it was up to me, he'd be starting this year, and some young guy would be drafted.
But it seems like he and McD didn't see eye to eye, so the team is moving on, which is fine as well. It's like if MIN moved on from Cousins. This isn't a Hall of Fame guy over here. He's a sweet guy, has talent, but lacks killer instinct, and in my opinion, if you give Carr a lead, he will squander it by playing too tight. Consistently, during Carr's time with the team, they have jumped out to leads, then didn't add to them. I dunno, maybe at his next stop his balls will drop, but I've never seen a killer instinct.
If they can arrange some kind of trade comp for him, great, but I think a late #1 is the best they could have hoped for, so him going for free is not a national tragedy.
