I guess I have been used to seeing College QB's be so polished you forget they are really young. Haven't really followed this guy too closely other than watching/reading about sports you are going to hear about the presumed number 1 pick all the time and the negative storyline attached with this guy has been really bad judgement.

Don't know enough about the rape issue to speak to that but that is obviously a much bigger flag.

This actually makes him look better than just straight out thievery - although he may have violated NCAA rules. What college kid turns down free stuff, especially one that has some celebrity status?

Like I said earlier, I'd be very concerned if the Jets end up drafting him - but some of this stuff is kind of a stretch. If you truly want to assassinate his character, stick with the rape stuff.

I was at Jim and Milt's once eating breakfast. It's a Tallahassee hot spot. Anyway, Christian Ponder walked in and the place practically stopped. You could hear people whispering "that's Christian Ponder." After about thirty seconds everyone in the restaurant knew he was there.

If you don't think something similar happens when the #1 QB recruit in the nation and likely soon to be starter walks into the bar I'm not sure I can help you.

My guess is she doesn't know what happened that night and there was another males DNA found on her during the rape kit examination... she probably was trying to choose her target. Winston seems like a pretty good target in hindsight doesn't he?
