Could JimmyG be an option for Miami?
He and McDaniel overlapped for 4 years in SF, so he's probably someone who could come in and start instantly. I think he could do enough to keep them above water and keep Hill/Waddle close to where they were drafted.
I think he's better than he showed last season, Josh McDaniels was just a lost cause.
How about trading for Mac Jones?
That makes less sense to me. Might as well offer for Kenny Pickett, if they just want cheap option with some experience. I think Jimmy G's appeal is the fact that he should be able to slide right in due to offense familiarity.
I don't hate Tannehill as an option. Dolphins offense would have a lot more than what he had in Tennessee, even on the OL.
I do think (assuming we aren't all chicken little-ing because of how it looked, and Tua is expected to just miss a game or so) the Dolphins should probably act quickly, because with the 10-day layoff, they can get someone more up to speed playbook wise.
