He was solid against ATL defense which I think is rated higher than KC or at least comprable. Bad matchups in a lot of cases can garnish cheap inflated stats (rushing / cheap TD etc.)

Good comment. But Cousins' mobility and the run game, which Mina Kimes pointed out last year, was partially responsible for the decision by ATL to go with Penix last year and is something to watch in addition to how he throws the football. Arm strength and running game might be non-stat things to look for.

Arm strength will loosen the box. You'll see the stretch plays and how the defensive line and linebackers are spaced and how they get to the ball carrier out wide in the running game.

I am not perfect and am not awesome with scheme or reasons, but this has been pointed out to me by people who are pretty darn good at it.

I doubt the Falcons want Cousins to be anymore than what he currently is, a backup. I wonder if the Vikings are in the market for Cousins? I know that contract is hard to move, but never say never I suppose.

Cousins was very good before he injured his shoulder in game 10. 272 ypg, 16 TDs vs 5 INTs. He made Mooney fantasy relevant. Stats per FFI.
