Is this what happens when an athletic QB loses the 5% edge he's got on everybody? Maybe LJ is banged up, but this is the risk in FF with running QBs who get a lot of their points on the ground. It eventually goes away.
You don't have to be Nostradamus to know Josh Allen will suffer the same fate and probably much sooner than people think. He's easily the most overrated passer in the league, although, his OC doesn't help.
How is Josh Allen an overrated passer? He isn't overrated one bit. He literally has ZERO downfield threats at WR. Nobody ever gets open for him. The Bills mid-season had to desperately sign Gabe Davis and Brandin Cooks from the scrap heap because their WR room is so poor. Allen went into the 2025 season with Keon Coleman as his starting X Receiver and Josh Palmer as his starting Z receiver. Khalil Shakir is purely an underneath slot receiver who is very limited. He has the Worst WR room in the NFL. And despite that fact, he still has a 100 Passer Rating and near-70% completion%.
Imagine Josh Allen throwing to Ceedee Lamb and George Pickens like Dak Prescott.
Imagine Josh Allen throwing to Jamarr Chase and Tee Higgins like Joe Burrow.
Imagine Josh Allen throwing to AJ Brown and Devonta Smith like Jalen Hurts.
Those guys have TWO #1 WRs. Allen has ZERO #1 WRs.
Allen and LamaRB are completely different style players. LamaRB is dependent on his running to open up his passing game, Allen IS NOT. Allen can take off and run, but unlike LamaRB, he doesn't RELY on his running to open up the passing game. Allen's game will age tremendously well, UNLIKE LamaRB.
