You can choose to not believe her but I'll again cite comments from Jordan Rodrigue, which she's not alone in making, but she's said multiple times even going back all the way to last off-season that there was an understanding between Stafford and the Rams that he would never play his last two years for the Rams on his current contract.
Again you can disagree, you can be of the opinion that the Rams can just play hardball if they want but similar to how I responded a few posts up that while everone is welcome to their opinions the reality of the situation is the Rams are not going to take that hardball stance with him and try and force him to play out those last two years without an adjustment on his contract.
Not sure what you mean exactly but there’s not a lot of jobs available relative to guys who can fill them.
Startable QBs (8.5): Stafford, Darnold, Wilson, Fields, Rodgers, Cousins maybe. Cam Ward, Shadeur Sanders, Jaxson Dart.
Qb needy teams (6.5): Tenn, Cle, NYG, LV, NYJ, Pit, maybe Indy
Any team expecting Jaxson Dart to be their starter in 2025 is asking for trouble. He's definitely a sit for a year guy coming from that Ole Miss offense. Could very much see a team adding one of the vet QBs and then also drafting Dart.
Could probably add Carr and NO to that list. That marriage seems flimsy at best.

Why criticize Rivers here? He was good in his one season in Indy. I seriously doubt Stafford in Indy in 2025 would be better than Rivers there in 2020.
Some of those options are pretty suspect, like ok maybe they're starters but bottom of the barrel starters, esp. for a team like the Rams that is going to be very competitive next year. Darnold and Rodgers I guess are viable options but a step down from Stafford, Cousins was bad last year, Fields has never proven anything. And the rooks aren't options for them.

If the NFL was not a salary capped league pretty sure the Rams would have no issue with a new contract, as would many teams. Pretty sure they do not want to commit to more than a 1-2 deal if that at this point given his age.
History has shown the NFL has not been kind to 37 year old QBs, even worse are old QBs switching teams.
With old QBs you move on at the right time or a year too late. That is why the Rams have told Jimmy Sexton he can talk to other teams to gauge interest.
That’s why I added Stafford is probably the best option short term. Rams probably wouldn’t be able to get the rookies, but the other qb needy teams can. Point is there is no obvious desperate team to trade him to thus reducing his leverage a little. He should get 2/80 and stay put but we’ll see.

Stafford should focus on NYG and LV, if he actually wants to leave LA. I wouldnt look twice at CLE, PIT, NYJ or TENN. Assuming the money is within $2-3M, LV would be my choice if he wants out of LA, got an old school coach, who has won, and its Vegas baby, Vegas!, maybe they get him McMillan in the draft, and his wife can go sit around the pool, or get spa treatments. WTH is she gonna do in CLE or PIT? Eat sandwiches?

19 wins and 12 losses his last 2 seasons as an NFL starting QB on a team that had won the Super Bowl in '21 and trying to retool/rebuild as they parted with a lot of draft capital and salary cap space in order to get that Lombardi Trophy and I doubt they regret any of it
19-12 last 2 years plus the Rams went to the Playoffs both years and even advanced to the 2nd round this past season

I don't care what anyone's opinion is of whether he still has the goods or not, the records speak for themselves and I only focused on very recent seasons
He missed a lot of '22 after they won the Super Bowl
The question of which team suits him the best, Stafford can only look at teams with talent already surrounding him or a team where he believes in the Owner/GM/HC and other supporting characters like a Tom Brady with major influence now as a member of the Raiders
I actually see Carroll and the Raiders taking a QB in the 2nd-3rd round as their QB of the future but maybe they can bring Staff in as a bridge for a year or two...I just don't think the Raiders really want a bridge, I see them more as trying to replicate the blueprint of what worked in Seattle during the early 2010s, just my opinion based on PC being hired as HC

Refreshing how seemingly honest Sean is about it. Bottom line is they would love to have him back but at his age they are hesitant on backing the Brinks truck up for him. The additional challenge is this team is good and ready to compete, so they cannot go into the season with a huge question mark at QB. Thankfully for them, there are some options out there.

I always like to add the betting markets to the other opinions, so while looking for odds on a player's next team I stumbled across Aaron Rodgers being the even money favorite to be the next Rams QB. 
A lot of dots that can connect Rodgers to LA. Had 2 MVP seasons with Matt LaFleur (who is a McVay disciple) Rodgers lives in Malibu, and the Rams hired Alex Van Pelt who was Rodgers QB coach in GB. There is a non-zero chance, the Rams could replace Stafford/Kupp with Rodgers/Adams and save 20 million in the process, while not having to commit long-term cash.
Speaking of dot connecting, The Giants QB coach is Stafford's brother in-law. I know many were curious why Stafford could be interested in NYG, beyond maybe his wife would like the spotlight. That could be another reason. If he did go to NYG, he wouldn't be the 1st Rams QB to win a Super Bowl and go there years later.

Viable for what? Playoffs, maybe. Division contender or Super Bowl contender? I don't think so.
It's a tough division with 3 other teams that just made the playoffs. I don't think Stafford would elevate the Raiders into top 2 division status, at least not him alone. If they also kill the draft and the rest of free agency, maybe.

I think the Colts would be more relevant with Stafford than the Raiders would be. I believe the Colts are an overall better team than the Raiders are.

The Schultz vs Rapaport reporting battle was interesting.
ok some people are talking like Stafford is a free agent. thats clearly not the case. he has 2 years remaining (I think) on his current deal. unless there is a no trade clause that he needs to waive. but I'd assume then that the Rams would need to give permission for him to seek a trade (or at least permission for teams to contact him)
am I missing anything here?

The Rams have already discussed possible trade compensation with at least 2 interested teams. They'll absolutely trade him if they can't agree on a new contract.
I think he was talking about the reporting saying Stafford had such an open dialogue with Brady about joining the Raiders and if he had permission.
On that subject yes he was given permission to discuss contract terms with other teams. I don't know any restrictions that may or may not have existed on how much he could engage with them.
Either way I'd not look for the Rams to be in any position of saying someone tampered, as McVay and Stafford had a similar get together in Cabo when he was on the market.
