Trevor Lawrence is now 149/209 in the team portions of training camp with 18 TDs and 2 turnover worthy throws. 11 drops (5.3% drop rate).
Trevor Lawrence completed 14-of-21 passes for 133 yards in the Jaguars’ preseason game against the Steelers.
Lawrence was a bit shaky early in the game, going 3-of-6 on his first drive with a few errant throws. He quickly dialed things in, getting points on the board on two of his next three drives. The starters couldn't find paydirt on their only redzone trip but looked good between the 20s. Lawrence and the rest of the starters were pulled at halftime. Christian Kirk was easily the second-year quarterback’s favorite target. He looked Kirk’s way eight times while Marvin Jones finished second among the starters with four targets. Going as an unheralded QB2, Lawrence has a strong chance to out-produce that ADP with a new cast of weapons and Doug Pederson calling the shots.

I have, a couple of times actually. He is my most drafted player so far this season. It might be the last year we get to draft TLaw in the teens. No chatter about Trevor at all. Anyone daring to take him as their starter?
In most formats I' be completely content pairing him as a streaming option with another QB like a Kirk Cousins or Trey Lance and playing matchups each week.No chatter about Trevor at all. Anyone daring to take him as their starter?
Trevor Lawrence is not expected to suit up in the Jaguars' preseason finale against the Falcons.
Lawrence sitting out Saturday's game will put a bow on his 2022 preseason. The No. 1 overall pick from the 2021 NFL Draft ends his preseason with a passing line of 228-1-0 while completing 20-of-33 passes (60.6%). Under head coach Doug Pederson and offensive coordinator Mike McCoy, Lawrence has reportedly learned to make quicker decisions this offseason and has impressed with his offseason growth. We won't see Lawrence until Sunday, September 11th when he and the Jaguars head to Washington for a tilt with the Commanders in Week 1.

Trevor Lawrence completed 24-of-42 passes for 275 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Jaguars' 28-22, Week 1 loss to the Commanders.
Lawrence and the Jaguars will wonder what could have been had it not been for some missed opportunities in this one. On the first drive of the game, Lawrence led the Jaguars downfield, and just missed Travis Etienne on what would have been a 15-yard touchdown -- instead settling for a field goal. Robinson would miss a wide-open Marvin Jones for a big gain on the team's second drive. And late in the second quarter Etienne would drop a walk-in touchdown pass on fourth and goal. Lawrence's lone touchdown pass came in the third quarter on a three-yard touchdown pass to James Robinson, but things could've gone much better for the second-year signal caller. Facing pressure throughout much of the afternoon, Lawrence looked composed and limited turnovers, with his lone interception coming at the end of the fourth quarter. Lawrence will be difficult to trust in next week's home opener against the Colts despite an encouraging first outing.

Trevor Lawrence completed 25-of-30 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns in the Jaguars' 24-0, Week 2 win over the Colts.
With the receiver-less Colts self destructing on offense, Lawrence just needed to avoid sacks and turnovers. He was tagged with zero of either, playing a near perfect first half and holding serve after the break as both teams ran out the clock. Lawrence wasn't really providing big plays — his longest completion went for 26 yards — and he wasn't as accurate as 25-of-30 might have indicated, but he once again appeared in the process of shaking off last year's Urban Meyer mis-education. He is getting Doug Pederson's memos and executing them to perfection, including peppering Christian Kirk with targets. He has now found Kirk for 12/195/3 through their first two games together, linking up for 10- and seven-yard scores this afternoon. We would not yet call Lawrence a priority streamer, but it is at least looking like a plausible 2022 outcome. The Chargers are a tough test for Week 3.

But it probably was his (Urban's) fault. After these games, I like to imagine Doug Pederson consoling Trevor about Urban, like Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting.
"It's not your fault."
Entering Monday night, Trevor Lawrence leads all Week 2 quarterbacks in EPA per play and completion percentage over expected.
Lawrence had a solidly productive game against the Commanders but hardly lit the world on fire, especially in a week when Tua Tagovailoa went off for 469 yards and six TDs. However, Lawrence needed only 30 passing attempts to put away the floundering Colts. His efficiency and accuracy point to the potential for bigger days ahead if he's pushed by the opposing offense. The Chargers should do their part in Week 3, setting up Lawrence for a strong week if he has indeed taken a big step forward this season.

And people forget that Manning had a rough first year too.he's living up to his stellar ranking as the biggest can't miss prospect since Peyton Manning. they're right. he is a stud.he's arrived.
28 interceptions rough. And people forget that Manning had a rough first year too.he's living up to his stellar ranking as the biggest can't miss prospect since Peyton Manning. they're right. he is a stud.he's arrived.
I know its gonna be said until the end of time at this point....but just to think how awful a coach Urban is to have made Trevor look like a dweeb out there.he's living up to his stellar ranking as the biggest can't miss prospect since Peyton Manning. they're right. he is a stud.he's arrived.
True, some people wanted him deported to Omaha.28 interceptions rough. And people forget that Manning had a rough first year too.he's living up to his stellar ranking as the biggest can't miss prospect since Peyton Manning. they're right. he is a stud.he's arrived.

Yikes.
Trevor Lawrence completed 11-of-23 passes for 174 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the Jaguars' 29-21, Week 4 loss to the Eagles, also losing four fumbles.
The Jags stormed out to a 14-0 lead on a windy, rainy day in Philadelphia. Then the turnovers started. Lawrence coughed the ball up at the Eagles' 34, his own 34, his own 31 and his own 21. Needless to say, the cough ups were costly. They were a mix of the conditions and Lawrence just not feeling the rush. For the fourth and final lost fumble, Lawrence let the pocket collapse in on him. He was splintered apart and the Eagles knelt it out. Lawrence's interception was a horrible decision near the goal line where a lazy floater to Christian Kirk was easily picked by James Bradberry. Today was a humbling setback for a second-year pro who has made legitimate strides so far in 2022. The Texans could go either way as a Week 5 matchup. We probably wouldn't be streaming Lawrence for that one.

You called it, man.I like him ROS but not loving him this week. The Eagles D is a juggernaut this year.
Trevor Lawrence completed 21-of-23 pass attempts for 168 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars 34-27 Week 6 loss to the Colts, adding six rushes for 23 yards and two touchdowns.
Lawrence saved an otherwise down fantasy day with two short rushing scores to cap off long Jacksonville drives. Lawrence was accurate, throwing just two incompletions, but most his throws were of the short, safe variety -- part of a dink and dunk Jaguars passing offense that was without field stretcher Marvin Jones (hamstring). It was something of a stabilizing performance for Lawrence after back-to-back horrific outings against the Eagles and Texans. Lacking arm strength and a willingness to stretch the field, Lawrence is nothing more than a superflex option for now. He gets the Giants in Week 7.

Today, #TrevorLawrence became the first quarterback in #NFL history to lose a football game with:
20+ passing attempts
90.0%+ completion-percentage
3+ total touchdowns
0 turnovers
103 years of football, this is the first and only time it’s ever happened.

I mean he's not the generational QB people touted him as; he's ok for right nowHe really is going to be a great QB in this league.
I think its too early to "cap" his ceiling. He looks very fluid and confident running and throwing this year. Its light years better than last year with Meyer. You could almost call this his rookie year with a real coach and game plan.I mean he's not the generational QB people touted him as; he's ok for right nowHe really is going to be a great QB in this league.
Trevor Lawrence completed 22-of-43 passes for 310 yards in the Jaguars’ 23-17, Week 7 loss to the Giants. He added four carries for three yards and a touchdown.
Lawrence led a Jags’ offense that wanted to go the pass-happy route in Week 7. Solid “Bend but don’t break” defense from the Giants kept Lawrence from having a better day through the air. He made a throw on the last play to Christian Kirk that almost won them the game before being stopped at the one. Lawrence remains a streaming QB option.

Trevor Lawrence completed 18-of-31 passes for 133 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the Jaguars' 21-17, Week 8 loss to the Broncos.
Lawrence threw two costly picks in this one, with his first coming down on Denver's goal line. With a scoring opportunity within reach, Lawrence attempted to dart a pass into the end zone, only to see Broncos safety Justin Simmons make an athletic play on the ball to pick him off in the end zone. His lone touchdown on the day came on a beautifully thrown ball to tight end Evan Engram, as Engram beat his defender to the corner of the end zone for a 22-yard score, giving the Jaguars an early 7-0 lead. Lawrence's second interception came on the Jaguars' final drive on the game. Looking to reclaim the lead from Denver in the waning minutes, Lawrence's first and only pass on the drive landed in the arms of cornerback K'Wuan Williams to secure the win for Denver. Lawrence averaged an abysmal 4.3 YPA on the day and has failed to crack 200 yards in three of his last five games. He'll be a mid-QB2 next week against the Raiders.
