Finger phasers, set to stun.Spotted Shooter McGavin as a Lieutenant on the Enterprise C in a time travel themed episode of Star Trek TNG last night. He didn't do the finger guns...was very disappointed.

no, no- you got it right, mojo.Oh, I thought he meant "Sorry you watched that POS"I think he meant that Edwards and Furlong are not random sightings - they were the leads in that turkey.
Who wouldn't?He looked a little more spry in that scene with Roz.![]()
Welcome to Debbie Country!!!OK, her'es a real random one, but I was immensely impressed with myself so I will share. As soon as I spotted it I ran to my wife and had the following conversation (this is not embellished):
Me: You know my special gift, right?
Wife: (pauses, I can see the gears turning in her head for a smart alec comment, but she plays it straight) Spotting people in movies, yeah, why?
Me: Well, I think I just topped myself. Come and see this one.
I bring her to the living room, where I am watching Singles for the first time in at least 15 years. The scene is one of the secondary characters (Debbie) having an argument with her roommate (Pam). For those who know the movie, Debbie was going to meet a guy from her video dating service, he ends up meeting and hitting it off with the roommate, and argument ensues.
Me: Recognize either of these women? How about the blonde?
Wife: No...
Me: A show we watch on Netflix?
Wife: No...
Me: She's Longmire's girlfriend for the last two seasons!
Yes, I recognized Ally Walker from two different roles she played 25 years apart. I impress myself sometimes.
He also played a transit cop in The Fugitive. There was a really clever Scrubs episode where he, as the janitor, tried to hide the fact that prior to becoming the janitor had the role in The Fugitive.
Had a bitpart as a cop on a train that tries to arrest Harrison Ford and is killed by the 1 armed man in The Fugitive. Scrubs did an episode joking about this, similar premise to this thread.
) and the new bride who gave the travelers a ride to the motel/restaurant was Carla Gugino. Barely had any lines.and the drugs.badmojo1006 said:Little Miss Sunshine has a Breaking Bad connection. Both Bryan Cranston and Dean Norris are in it.
Eric LaSalle. He also had a bit part in ERWatched Logan last night. The farmer he helps is the jerry-curl boyfriend in "coming to America".
I just watched the movie. He comes out of nowhere, literally. One moment Clint is walking through the woods, and then there is Uncle Leo with a gun.Uncle Leo is in The Outlaw Josey Wales.
Oh, yeah. (And Françoise is a girl's name.)The man who played Claude Lacombe in Close Encounters of the Third Kind is actually the incredibly famous French New Wave director Francoise Truffaunt, best known for The 400 Blows, which many rank as one of the best films ever made.
To put this in perspective, imagine Stanly Kubrick acted in Star Wars as Obi-Won. Mind blown.
I bet I'm real late to the party on this one...
Bit part? Wasn't he one of the main doctors for a few seasons?Eric LaSalle. He also had a bit part in ER
Yes. I was being sarcastic, because the original poster recognized him from his bit part in Coming to America, but didn't mention his prominent role in ER.Bit part? Wasn't he one of the main doctors for a few seasons?
Oh, got it. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing as I typed that but still didn't make the connection that you were doing the same thing.Yes. I was being sarcastic, because the original poster recognized him from his bit part in Coming to America, but didn't mention his prominent role in ER.
And he plays the guy in Aliens. Captian Second Fiddle. Always plays the second, never the lead.Probably a pretty obvious one for some, but never noticed it before (and I haven't seen many of his movies), but caught the end of Tombstone last night and realized that Johnny Ringo and Kyle Reise from the original Terminator are one in the same, Michael Biehn.
Played in The Rock, as well. Usually played the same character type, but he was good at it. Saw him in something recently, has not aged well. And he plays the guy in Aliens. Captian Second Fiddle. Always plays the second, never the lead.
And in Tombstone, Aliens, and Terminator, he dies. Second fiddle and always gets capped before the end of the flick.Played in The Rock, as well. Usually played the same character type, but he was good at it. Saw him in something recently, has not aged well.
Navy Seals. And in Tombstone, Aliens, and Terminator, he dies. Second fiddle and always gets capped before the end of the flick.
Forgot about Navy Seals!Navy Seals.
he's "that guy" with gun movies
Dies as the crazy military guy in the Abyss. And in Tombstone, Aliens, and Terminator, he dies. Second fiddle and always gets capped before the end of the flick.
Damn, that guy is everywhere. And dies everywhere too!Dies as the crazy military guy in the Abyss.
Too bad he was too young to play on Star Trek. They would have had a red shirt waiting for him.Damn, that guy is everywhere. And dies everywhere too!
He doesn't die in Aliens. Injured and put into sleep capsule at the end iirc. And in Tombstone, Aliens, and Terminator, he dies. Second fiddle and always gets capped before the end of the flick.
Holy crap, it is!Was watching 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' the other night, and the guy who played Jacob Kowalski, the baker 'nomag,' also plays the crazy brother/uncle Marvin on The Goldbergs.
Only became a fan of The Goldbergs recently. I don't know why, I was a teen in that era. Especially the guy with the Rush shirts!Holy crap, it is!Was watching 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' the other night, and the guy who played Jacob Kowalski, the baker 'nomag,' also plays the crazy brother/uncle Marvin on The Goldbergs.

That show is the best comedy on TV and like a little bit of my childhood rolled into 30 minutes. We watch it religiously as a family. Even the 4 year old likes it.Only became a fan of The Goldbergs recently. I don't know why, I was a teen in that era. Especially the guy with the Rush shirts!![]()
