Tet just had a 100 yard receiving game.I was referring to the 1st half dozen picks... EE was in the later half of most of my drafts; but yeah, him and Warren are the only 1st rounders performing right nowHard disagree. When he gets touches he looks good.Hampton looks bust worthy already
Also isn’t Egbuka a rookie? Dude has 3 TD in 2 games.

Wild Ashton Jeanty stat...
He has 81 rushing yards on the season.
And 84 rushing yards AFTER contact.
He also has 3 receiving yards this season.
But 26 receiving yards AFTER the catch.
His PFF Elusive Rating currently ranks 14th in the NFL. Or, if you look at the 21 players with 30+ touches so far, Jeanty ranks 4th in that category.
#TUSTATS
Former #BoiseState running back Ashton Jeanty is currently tied for third in the NFL with 8 missed tackles forced this season.
He's averaging 2.7 yards per carry, but 2.8 yards after contact per carry.
#TUSTATS
Josh Norris
There are 54 RBs with 10+ carries this season
Ashton Jeanty ranks 54th with -0.1 yards before contact per attempt
right now, Ashton Jeanty must:
1. Make the right read
2. Frequently win on first contact at the LOS
3. Then win on contact again at the second level
I'm not talking about a flat out benching where he's not the starter, but at least according to my Redzone viewing experience, he was on the sidelines for significant pockets after one of his big pass blocking miscue/whiffs.Zero chance he gets benched. He won't get a full workload until he proves he can handle every aspect of the offense but, he's still going to see 15 or so opportunities IMO.Anyone benching?
Strongly considering it because these miscues and tentative play is manifesting in pockets, at least, of actual benching.
In a ten-teamer it's more plausible. Like I could play Kenneth Walker and Javonte Williams this week. Come to think of it, that very configuration could be available to some in larger leagues given draft prices.I wish I could - I spent a high draft pick on him like everybody else.Anyone benching?

You fleeced. Congrats!Shipped him for Cook.
I need wins now.
By the timeTrentAshton is done marinating I'd be 0-6.

What a deal. The thought of someone in my local giving up Cook for an underperforming Jeanty is absolutely laughable, you did very well there.

Too many folks, especially but certainly not limited to casual players, don't adjust their rankings quickly enough. If we had a restart to all of fantasy football this week, with a hypothetical but requisite hype of a typical pre/off-season, and including what we have witnessed through these first two weeks of the Bills and Raiders, I'd guess the influencer experts would have Cook a first rounder in most standard leagues, and Jeanty a third, at best. Proteus jumped on that before it became wider recognized reality.
That said, all of the above could change in a heartbeat, if things suddenly click for Jeanty, this week or sometime soon. Look at Jahmyr Gibbs' rookie season. Or Beckham Jr.'s. If Jeanty is a sleeping super stud, it could happen at any time, or never at all, if he isn't. What we do know is Cook seems to have been undervalued going into drafts this year, given his situation and past results. And that he sits as the RB1 overall today.
He avg 3.5 a carry that game and thats with a long run of 26. And im not sure we watched the same game because I barely saw him break a tackle. Its kinda of common knowledge that when Jeanty went up against equal competition his stats were midI watched the Penn St game too and I thought he was very impressive. The Penn St D-line dominated that entire game and Jeanty was able to make guys miss in the backfield and pick up positive yards almost every time. While he was only getting 5-7 yd gains what he was doing was incredible to get those yards. The overall stats didn't look great but I thought he was very good under the circumstances.I said it multiple times, the kid is not "generational"; is he good and worth 1.01; yeah but he isn't tiers above Hampton and Hunter. I watched that Penn State Playoff game and he did nothing to impress

I tried... but nobody really listened
Are you referring to the sack by Mack?Watching Jeanty get bounced back a couple yards like a rag doll in pass protection and then showing absolutely no interest in reengaging while his QB was getting closed in on was eye opening. I can’t imagine any HC who is going to have any tolerance for that.

No. No, it doesn't make sense on any level to rest a rookie who clearly needs more experience.Raiders coach Pete Carroll said he “would like” to get Ashton Jeanty around 20 carries per game.
“We want more of him,” Carroll said after Week 2. Jeanty saw 19 carries in Week 1, but was at 11 in Week 2 as the Raiders trailed and the team relied on other backs in catch up mode. Chip Kelly and Geno Smith, per the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Vincent Bonsignore, wanted to get other players “more involved.” We don’t necessarily think Jeanty is a lock to get 20 touches a game, but it does make some sense to rest him in the second half of a blowout. His snap share isn’t worth worrying about. Jeanty remains on the RB2 line until we see the Las Vegas offensive line deliver him to fantasy value.

100% but these analysts seem to think resting him makes sense. That's what raised my dander.No. No, it doesn't make sense on any level toRaiders coach Pete Carroll said he “would like” to get Ashton Jeanty around 20 carries per game.

It makes sense to bench a rookie RB who is a liability in pass pro, which Jeanty was last weekend. Dood needs to button that **** up with the quickness or this is going to happen again.

Probably a Rotoworld blurb. They have no clue. In their update for Skattebo they just said he's firmly taken control of the NYG backfield based on last weekend. Sure, buddies.
Amen. If they aren’t going to use him on 3rd and long, or in hurry up, and the occasional series off each half not looking good thoughI’m pro 20 carries a game.
He pretty much sucks for fantasy football purposes any way.So is Jeanty… bad?
The Raiders need to rework their offensive scheme and get some proper run-blocking for this dude.Ashton Jeanty rushed 17 times for 63 yards in the Raiders’ Week 3 loss to the Commanders.
The early PFF data has Jeanty running for no gain or a loss on five of his rush attempts in this one. The rookie running back saw the opposing defense in his backfield far too often in this one, finding little room to run for the third consecutive week. Runs of 17 and 18 yards made up more than half of Jeanty’s yardage on the ground, while Week 3 also marked the first time on the season that he failed to see a target. Jeanty didn’t see much of the field in the fourth quarter, which was likely due to the game being out of reach. Fantasy managers shouldn’t view him as anything more than a volume-based RB2 in Week 4 against the Bears.

Yep, it was always stupid of the Raiders to draft a RB top 10 before the support was in place around him. This is not complicated and easy to avoid in advance, but a lot of NFL organizations are run poorly.Nah, he's not that bad. They have absolutely no run blocking. His yards before contact is a negative.

Lol. Turn on the tape and you'll find out why he is struggling stat wise.So is Jeanty… bad?
Chip Kelly is an absolute idiot. The usage for Jeanty is extremely troubling. The dude is such a weapon in all facets yet they have Dylan FREAKING Laube in on 3rd downs and important short yardage/4th down plays. It makes absolutely zero sense man.And no usage in the passing game. Yikes.
