Mason only got one carry as wellDang, people are not happy with todays performance? He showed that rare receiving ability and shouldered an enormous amount of the snaps.
CMC is going to be an elite FF player going forward.

Well unless Achance outscores Puka by 7 tonight.. I am going to be 6-4 lolI have made probably 8 different trades. I doubt anyone really wants me to get into it in this thread. How do you have a 12 teamer redraft team with Jefferson, Lamb, Puka, Wilson, Nabors, and Moore? That's three first round picks, an early 2nd, and two 3rds.I gotta question what you are thinking here. CMC ain’t gonna give you that kind of return coming off a long term injury. Heck, they will likely ease him in and still spell him with Mason/others so they don’t overwork him. And this SF team isn’t lighting up the scoreboard like previous seasons; Purdy is now a known commodity. Brown is on the rise on a team that has to put up big points to win games, and Burrow is playing as well as he ever has which opens up running lanes. Puka is banged up, but a target machine the minute he steps on the field. And I haven’t even mentioned the most likely scenario—CMC misses more time.Just bet my entire re-draft season on CMC (Chase Brown + Puka 4 cmc)
Here we go.....
Good luck though! It wouldn’t be the first time I was wrong if CMC goes nuts for the second half of the season. I just don’t see it happening.
Ehh--- I play FF for fun & my 10 year old remembered CMC leading us to the title last year so he wanted to run it back.
The trade was a little bigger
I gave: Kyler, Chase Brown, Puka, DJ Moore
I got: Burrow, CMC, Charbonnett
These is a 12 team league with a million trades and we have a really strong team. Somehow we were having to decide between 5 WRs for 4 spots each each (3WR/1Flex: Jefferson, Lamb, Nabors, Gwilson, Puka) So it actually makes the lineup decision a little easier.
I also have burrow/achane/CMC/Mcbride
Seriously, I would be down reading about it if you don’t mind taking the time to share how you assembled the best FF team ever
No one really questioned if he wasn't coming back. Everyone just questioned how long he would be back.I told y'all he’d be ok.
I find your lack of faith disturbing.
With the 49ers OL issues I'd say no.Are we as excited about him playing in a blizzard as he seems to be?

Here’s the play on which Christian McCaffrey injured his knee:

He wasn't even cutting. Do we really believe that ****? Calf strain at best, torn achilles at worst. Not good either way.If it truly is a knee injury, it could just be a simple sprain and he's ok in a week or two, hopefully.

He'll be 29 when the 2025 season begins. He's had quite the exciting career but he's never proven he has the ability to carry the load and come out healthy. He's had over 250 carries twice in his career, and both seasons will have ended with him in rehab assuming he doesn't come back this year. He was run into the ground last season. I wish him the best and hope he comes back 100%, but I won't be taking a chance on him in any circumstance. If this isn't the end, its near.Hope he'll be alright in time, but for all intents and purposes, he's done for the fantasy season.....regardless of whether or not he's officially "out" for the season. Not even a TD this season....wow.
Fantasy doesn't matter when someone is injured, but this is the first time in years that I spent a 1st rounder on him. Crazy.
Might actually be a much better risk in redrafts next year if he falls.
Yes, and assuming that's the general outlook in the FF community, he could return great value next season after essentially "resting" this year.I wish him the best and hope he comes back 100%, but I won't be taking a chance on him in any circumstance. If this isn't the end, its near.
Dang that snow must be bad if they gonna lose twice in it in one day.at 5-8 after tonight
Yes, it's bad. Potentially could be 5-9....Dang that snow must be bad if they gonna lose twice in it in one day.
He injured it on play before
May have injured it on the play he almost broke for a TD where he came down hard from a high drop.
I have it on DVR, I don't see anything that looked like a problem with the knee from that long run.Docs on Twitter who have been pretty good diagnosing this stuff are saying his knee on previous run could have been injured. Then he just went down on next run.
But you’re not an elite athlete that went to Germany… I’ve battled Achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis too. It’s brutal. He injured it on play beforeMay have injured it on the play he almost broke for a TD where he came down hard from a high drop.I have it on DVR, I don't see anything that looked like a problem. He took a couple steps on the last run that looked normal then he pushed off with his right foot and immediately pulled up. Looks to me like it's either cramping/tightening up with the weather or just the tendonitis flaring up. I've been fighting tendonitis all year and when it flares it's like someone stuck a knife in there.Docs on Twitter who have been pretty good diagnosing this stuff are saying his knee on previous run could have been injured. If presumed "healthy" at the start of next season, he won't escape the 1st round in redraft. If "unhealthy," no thanks. I get it, zig when they zag, zag when they zig, that's where value comes from but many times the contrarian play is also the incorrect play.Yes, and assuming that's the general outlook in the FF community, he could return great value next season after essentially "resting" this year.I wish him the best and hope he comes back 100%, but I won't be taking a chance on him in any circumstance. I see that now. That does not look good. It takes a lot for a knee to be that unstable running in a straight line.He wasn't even cutting. Do we really believe that ****? Calf strain at best, torn achilles at worst. Not good either way.If it truly is a knee injury, it could just be a simple sprain and he's ok in a week or two, hopefully.
You could see his knee shudder (twice) on the angle looking away at him.

Tell me about it.....many times the contrarian play is also the incorrect play
Not sure what you're getting at here but my comment about not seeing it was regarding the knee on the prior play. It didn't look like it took any ill effect and he didn't seem bothered by it when he got up. I did say that any form of tendonitis is brutal, elite athlete or not. Mine is elbow and it can stab just lifting up a cup of coffee wrong. But you’re not an elite athlete that went to Germany… I’ve battled Achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis too. It’s brutal.
What I am getting at is a serious bout of tendonitis is brutal. Especially in the ankles and even the lower extremities. Everything hangs together… if you have Achilles issues in both ankles then it’s likely going to translate elsewhere as other joints and tendons try to compensate. Idc how elite of an athlete you are. Physics and physiology and frankly age carry the day. It really can mess you up. Been beating this drum since August. Reminds me sadly a lot of Gurley’s decline. Not sure what you're getting at here but my comment about not seeing it was regarding the knee on the prior play. Ok yes, that is what I've been saying. Wouldn't surprise me if this is what happened to CMcWhat I am getting at is a serious bout of tendonitis is brutal. From the play I saw it sure seemed like the left Achilles shot up his calf, but I didn't sleep at a Holiday Inn last nightHe wasn't even cutting. Do we really believe that ****? And so it appears a frustrating season for #49ers star Christian McCaffrey ends like this:
4 games. 348 yards from scrimmage. 0 touchdowns. 2 significant injuries.
He’s due $16.2 million in 2025, when he’ll be 29 years old.
According to Bills reporter Sal Capaccio, McCaffrey was seen after the game walking, "very slowly, using crutches, with a large brace on his right knee." ESPN reports McCaffrey will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury.
While I can't see CMC not returning, have to imagine team brass will be looking to restructure his contract for cap relief. The team is at a crossroads with its Super Bowl window closing and will need to re-tool (including the need to pay Purdy soon).Tom Pelissero
