Except they wouldn’t be 5-2 with playoff aspirations if CMC wasn’t playing Superman. The insane amount of injuries to key offensive players has forced this situation. They should be able to lighten the load somewhat without sacrificing wins once everyone is back and healthy. Hopefully that happens soon.

On a side note, Hennessy looked good replacing Brendel.

The last one maybe, but all the others were very necessary. Plus having him on the field is huge even when he doesn’t get the ball.

They are going to get him 25 touches at least every game. That’s the way it is and will be. Accept it and enjoy the moment.

He reminds me so much of Frank Gore from the standpoint that when they do take him out, he is on the sideline, helmet on, chomping at the bit to get back in. Dude loves to play football.

If CMC gets hurt at any point, even in the 1st quarter of a game, this crowd will be yelling that it's because of overuse. They can all tell the future and then justify trading CMC or not drafting him. Like they want it to happen

I absolutely agree and, thought I made it clear that I agree in my OP.

From 2017-2022 Shanahan has a 39-42 record (48% win percentage)

I think a fair analog at the RB position would be Derrick Henry with Mike Vrable.

Mike Vrable with Henry 48-41 (54% win percentage), without Henry 6-4 (60% win percentage). I am sure that would change if you had a larger sample size in Tennessee without Henry. Then again the Pats are 7-2 with Rhamondre and Treveyon leading the backfield.
