RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt, WAS (5 Viewers)

What round is too early to take him in a PPR redraft? There has been a lot of buzz. Is late 14th round too early? Only RBs with higher ADP available are Guerendo, Chubb, Wright, Hunt...I could make an argument he has more upside and opportunity than almost all of them (Guerendo is a valuable backup too, but he sure gets dinged up a lot)
He went 15.12 in my 12-team PPR redraft last night.

Posted this in the Brian Robinson thread bud if you invested in Croskey-Merrit your hopes of a BROB trade could be coming true.

Jordan Schultz is reporting he’s on the block.

That video is based solely on speculation by Ben Standig.

This seems to have hit critical mass. Why are they so eager to get rid of Brian Robinson. I’d caution against anointing him just yet, but they seem excited about him.

Thank you, not sure how this was spun anyway else after listening to it.

I think this could be simply one of those things, they inherited the guy, he's been kinda jaggish his entire career and this is a guy they like and I'm guessing they see BRob's production easy to replace. This guy might be "the" Free Agent Draft #1 pick by next week

More seriously, what are our best guesses for JCM's production now?
I have to let the dust settle still. What if, and I'm just messing around, what if Ekeler gets the lions share if Robinson is axed or traded? What if they sign some other castoff that earns a prominent role? I need the dust to settle I'm not ready to call JCM the starter yet.

But if he is then it's lights out. And if it takes a few weeks to usurp the role, that's fine too.

Sure, that could happen, for about a month, before the wheels fall off. Ekeler is just too old, too many miles, too many concussions to carry the load for a full season. Like, I'd say there is less than 5% chance he could do that.

Can we set up a separate, elite forum for those of us that drafted Croskey Merritt prior to the Brian Robinson news breaking?

Cool, thanks.

He went in the fifth in my main league. I considered but took brashard smith instead.
I did get him in a 12 team SF at pick 5.12 and a 32 team start up in the 11th, pick 334.

There is no way Sharks can draft Bill Merritt.
The point is that we could have gotten him past his ADP value.
Now the guppies are all going read the news on B Rob and form their own hype train.
The hype train will drive the ADP value way up to the point where it doesn't make sense.

That will happenn, just depends now when your draft is and can you get JCM before the word really gets out.

I don't disagree but I do think he can provide a large enough amount of mud to frustrate everyone. Except for those of us that drafted JCM back in June and July like I did. Heehee!

Ignore this Ilov. This thread started March 20th. Everyone was a guppy once, pal.

Don’t be this guy. That’s silly. If you really value knowledge then draft in May right after the NFL Draft. That way you know who and where.

I think it’s important to remember everyone was clueless once and it’s pretty clear who was counting down the days until he tested at the Big 12 Pro Day. Salud!

We are having our rookie draft this weekend. I'm telling myself, I can't really consider him at 2.10 can I. At this rate he may not be there, damn these late rookie drafts.

As a board member of this club, I’ll just say he’s steaming to close to his actual value right now. This Commanders offense is going to spread it around. Sum will be greater than parts. So go get him, but think flex not RB2.
30 year old Ekler will be in the mix too. Versatile, trusted, he was in on 48% of their plays in the last post-season per FFI. But, he's a concussion away from more than the 4 day IR he had last year.
