Raheem Mostert had ten rushes for 37 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins’ Week 1 win against the Chargers, adding two receptions for 13 yards.
With De’Von Achane a healthy scratch, Mostert was decidedly ineffective as the Dolphins’ lead back. Outside of a 12-yard first half carry, Mostert was stopped cold at the line of scrimmage time and time again against LA. Miami’s massive pass-heavy approach didn’t provide much opportunity for Mostert in this one. He’ll be a touchdown-dependent flex play in Week 2 against a stout Patriots defense.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert has a knee injury and did not practice on Wednesday.
Already banged up? He’s ahead of his usual schedule. I’m considering a drop for better early season prospects while they’re still available, because I’ve seen this show with Mostert before.Field YatesDolphins RB Raheem Mostert has a knee injury and did not practice on Wednesday.
What in the actual ****Field YatesDolphins RB Raheem Mostert has a knee injury and did not practice on Wednesday.
I would hold until more info comes out. I am guessing a vet rest day but it could also be season ending with Mostert's history.Already banged up? He’s ahead of his usual schedule. I was hoping for three because I also drafted KamaraEverybody got Mostert dirt cheap because of his injury risk. His name literally may as well have been "Dolphins starting RB for a week or two", and that's the price you got him for.
I got him because I ended up with Breece and Javonte. When I bid on him in the auction, I literally thought "I'll take whatever he's got until (and if) Breece and Javonte get back up to speed".I was hoping for three because I also drafted KamaraEverybody got Mostert dirt cheap because of his injury risk. NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe reports Raheem Mostert’s missed practice on Wednesday was “vet rest and maintenance.”
Mostert was listed on the injury report with a knee issue, but Wolfe quelled the panic by saying it is “nothing to worry about.” For a player with an injury history as extensive as Mostert’s, even minor issues are a concern, so it’s good to see this is nothing more than maintenance. He will rank as an RB2 for the Dolphins’ Week 2 matchup with New England.
Almost 180 total yds, 3 TDs in 2 games
I think he has always had the lead job.......when healthy. Problem is he gets hurt then Wilson is utilized. They really aren't both healthy at the same time much. Mostert is the better player.....when healthy. So question is - did he steal the lead back job from Wilson when he returns?
If I had the RB depth I'd try and sell high, but I don't. So I'm running him into the ground (like Miami) until the wheels fall off.I think he has always had the lead job.......when healthy. I'm being offered Mike Evans for either Mostert or Brian Robinson in Standard league. I also have Jacobs ,Pierce and Connor. Problem is Mostert and Robinson are playing better than both Jacobs and Pierce and Connor is playing ok. I'm thinking since Robinson is playing good and Connor is playing ok and Jeff wislon maybe coming back maybe trade Mostert for Evans. I have good WR who have not lived up to the hype yet. I have Chase, Christian Watson and Garrett Wilson so would I play Evans most weeks. He has played better that all of them so far??If I had the RB depth I'd try and sell high, but I don't. Hoping the WIlson owner panics and drops him to attend to other needs.
He's got 11.50 PPR points in my flex and the 2nd quarter just started. If this is the drop-off I can expect, I'll take it all day.Welp. They had 4 different RBs in on that drive. Mostert got 1 carry and Achane got the TD. I think the first 2 weeks were all we're getting from him.
Isn’t Mostert playing well also? This is now Achane's backfield
not even close to achane's godly levelIsn’t Mostert playing well also? This is now Achane's backfield
ORLY?This is now Achane's backfield
and I repeat myself!TD Mostert!
Yeah, I know what you mean.
With Achane's success today, you might have.Guess I shouldn't have sold high
Best reverse jinx, ever. This is now Achane's backfield
Same. At least he left Achane on his bench or I’d really be deadI'm getting Mosterted......Miami is just staying on the gas. Sheesh.
I traded away a 4 td performance for a guy who scored 4 pointsWith Achane's success today, you might have.Guess I shouldn't have sold high
A double-reverse jinx. Don't see many of these.Best reverse jinx, ever. This is now Achane's backfield
Jeff Wilson Jr. might be relegated to Mostert's backup at this rate.Raheem Mostert had 13 rushes for 82 yards and three touchdowns in the Dolphins’ Week 3 win against the Broncos, adding seven receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown.
Coming off a Week 2 performance in which he ran for 121 yards and two touchdowns as Miami’s lead back, Mostert split backfield work with rookie RB Devon Achane against Denver. The pair of backs had an all-time outing against a miserable Broncos defense, eclipsing 300 yards on the ground and combining for an unbelievable eight touchdowns on the day. Mostert averaged a healthy 6.4 yards per carry and was pulled in the fourth quarter with Miami up 50 points. Mostert so far this season has proven to be one of fantasy football’s most consequential players. Looks for him to continue sharing carries and targets with Achane in Week 4 against Buffalo.
