Didn’t there used to be a laughing emoji reaction? If you're going to use someone as a comparison looking for a positive at least use someone that was relevant.Wouldn't exactly call it an insult either. He just never really hit the big time. Better yards per carry than David Montgomery, and most fans seem to love Montgomery.Well, that surely isn't a compliment. The way he runs kinda reminds me of Isaiah Crowell

Also, sounds like this years Kareem Hunt. I wouldn't mind that production.Lots of hope/hype in here, but I see a guy that hits the hole hard, does his best to get north/south, finishes runs but has almost zero vision. He runs with impatience and does not do a good job of setting up blocks. In other words, in many cases, he gets what's there and punishes the defenders before going down. Unfortunately, on almost every run last week, I saw extra yards left on the field. As much as I wish it to be true, this is not an Arian Foster remix. Sorry to be the wet blanket, and maybe he gets better, but I just don't see it.

FWIW, Hunt still displays excellent wiggle and vision through the hole even after everything he's been through in the NFL.

I also just don't understand that comparison to begin with, Hunt was a huge prospect. Like top 4 rookie RB's in a major talent crop. You're seriously comparing McCormick to Hunt? Hun's not the running back he once was, that I will concede, but McCormick has no wiggle from what I saw. Hunt might not make the spectacular play he was once capable of making, but I still see him hitting the hole hard making full speed cuts through the hole making defenders miss. His skillset is still lightyears ahead of McCormick's, and the team he plays on matters. I also won't deny McCormick's automatically better than anything else on the Raiders roster simply because he runs hard. Laube, Abdullah, White and Mattison are all pansies. I hope McCormick turns into something, I love a good underdog story, but I just don't see it with him. Also to be clear, I'm not saying you shouldn't take a chance on him. The running back position has been a mess this season and there are 6 teams on a bye this week, with 5 of those teams having a running back that's a meaningful fantasy contributor. You're seriously comparing McCormick to Hunt? I wouldnt compare him to vintage Kareem Hunt and KC is undoubtedly a more skilled team and better coached team. Kareem Hunt this year is a bruiser who get the yards given to him and as you mentioned his wiggle game is pretty damn good. Hunt is a volume based runner this season. Give McCormick 20 plus touches with his running style I think he can be productive.
I agree 100%. The chances of him becoming a playoff darling are slim. More times than not, these situations don't pan out. But, like you said worth a dart throw as a bench stash if you have the room or bye week fill in if you need it. I was just trying to come up with a player starting for an NFL team this season that his running style could be compared to,Hun's not the running back he once was, that I will concede, but McCormick has no wiggle from what I saw. There aren't any, really. That's because McCormick doesn't really have the natural talent to be a consistent starter in the NFL. Audric Estime might be the best comp I can come up with for guys actually getting carries. Carson Steele as well, but McCormick seems to have much more confidence in his abilities than Steele.I agree 100%. The chances of him becoming a playoff darling are slim. Oh, when you said "this year's Kareem Hunt" I thought you meant "analogous to Kareem Hunt's situation when he came on". But you are saying, his style sounds like Hunt's current style, right? If Mattison is returning he may not be running much against anything....but he's running up against the brick wall that is the Buccs run defense.
They're ranked somewhere like 27 or 28th against the run this year. Not the same Bucs defense as last year....but he's running up against the brick wall that is the Buccs run defense.

yesWould you start him over Jaylen Warren?
Warren hasn’t been good this year, so probably.Would you start him over Jaylen Warren?
Throw in that he's been a raider since 2022, and I think the Sincere train will be short lived.
Different subject but I think Coker has a better chance of being a difference maker long term.Devaughn Vele and Jalen Coker for Sincere, Isaiah Davis (I roster Breece Hall) and a valuable linebacker rental.
