We're No Angels
Charming 1989 remake of the classic 1955 film starring Robert DeNiro, Sean Penn, Demi Moore, Bruno Kirby, and a very young John C. Reilly. Lightweight, but worth a watch especially if you have kids age 10-15. Really loved DeNiro facial expressions in this one. I swear he watch a bunch of Three Stooges films before making this movie.
I miss that guy. He was a good character actor. He was perfect in "The Freshman" with Broderick and Brando.
The Freshman is a movie I should watch again. I liked it a lot, but I can't remember one scene.
oh, see, i think it's pretty funny but not hilarious. much of it depends on the viewers affection for Broderick. my favorite scene is a little one with Brando and Broderick. He's walking Clark out of his social club when he spies a picture on the wall. It's something like
Broderick: Is that a picture of Benito Mussolini?
Brando: Well, it ain't Tony Bennett...
It's the timing of the lines that cracks me up.
