What happens if KGB wins that game? KGB seems like he'd be smart enough to use Mike's skills to pay him back + extra. I mean you can beat the guy half to death, but where does that get you? The next day, he still doesn't have the money, and he's just likely to disappear. Move to Europe or something and work his way back up playing cards. I dunno. Gramma seems like a sicko, maybe he just wanted to beat his ###. Or get his hooks in even deeper. Or maybe he's just a company man.

I agree the reaction seems off. He would be upset at the chance to lean on Mike for the next few years of his life. I'm sure he saw thousands of dollars of interest go out the door when Mike won. But with that being said he only loaned Worm a few K if I remember right, and unless Mike stepped up Worm would have been difficult to track down and even if he did find him you cant get blood from stone. Figure Gramma chops up the extra 10ish K with KGB and he pockets a few grand for a weeks work. I'm not sure thats worth being THAT upset about it, in fact in some ways I'm sure he would be happy. I'm sure they added the whole "meathead gets upset" angle just to add to Mikes victory at the end.
