Roy Williams dynasty value? (1 Viewer)

What would Roy Williams' dynasty value be if he weren't on the Lions? I understand that a lot would depend on which team he went to, but I don't see him going to a team where the situation is worse than his is currently. The Lions are in shambles, he's the #2 receiver on the team, and the situation seems to be getting worse.

Although trades during the season aren't very common, but the Lions are in desperate need of starting over, and he's one of the few pieces that would have value in a trade.

If he were to be traded, does he have the potential to be a top 10 WR consistently? (I am one of the 39 remaining Lions fans, and have a hard time evaluating his talent, because he's obviously been very unhappy, and the whole team is horrible.)

His (rather disappointing) production throughout his career has been the result of ONE thing: His freakish size/athletic ability. And as he ages, guess what's the first thing to go?

He didn't produce star #'s in a Mike Martz passing game with the deck stacked in his favor (accurate Gung Ho QB, almost always playing from behind with garbage #'s galore awaiting), why in the world would he get BETTER somewhere else?

Plus, the nagging injuries or only ever gonna get worse from here on out.

PASS!

I don't see how the situation can get much worse than having a QB with no arm, a horrible O-line (meaning no time), and always losing. Yes, I understand that when they're losing then they throw the ball, but when you're ALWAYS losing, that makes the team one dimensional.

I don't see any team that would trade for him that isn't at least decent.

The injuries are still a concern, but I wonder how much better he'd play if he were happy. Making comments like "don't worry, I'm stuck here" doesn't make me think that he's going to give his all any time soon.

Ask yourself this.... how many WRs could the Lions bring in to do what Roy has done? A whole hell of a lot of them.
