Plus Scarface. Can we name adult film stars?
Might have to consider Mark Margolis, who played Hector Salamanca in Breaking Bad, so you get that series, Better Call Saul, The Equalizer, plus the adult film classic "The Opening of Misty Beethoven" for when you need a change of pace.
I've never seen someone use a bulleted list on this board.Do we get writing credited shows too? If so, Wolf would give me:
I could watch TV all day for the full year and not have to watch reruns.
- Hill Street Blues
- Miami Vice
- All the Law and Orders
- Chicago series
- FBI series
They are all reruns...Do we get writing credited shows too? If so, Wolf would give me:

3 socks. you get 3 socksWill I have extra socks? This could affect my answer
Brings an interesting side question. Do you get every episode of a show even if they were not in the episode or was a guest star? How about Julia Louis Dreyfuss? I honestly don't think I'd get sick of cycling through Seinfeld and Veep.
Going the 2 TV show route, I could take Michael C. Hall and just watch both Dexter and Six Feet Under on endless loops. How about Julia Louis Dreyfuss? I honestly don't think I'd get sick of cycling through Seinfeld and Veep.
You guys gonna sleep your way through it, huh? Genius!ThisClint Eastwood
I changed my mind. My definitive answer is Tom Cruise. If director/producer do I get what they also produced?
If so, then JJ Abrams. Nothing he's done is my favorite thing but as a catalog he's been involved in a lot of great stuff. Besides, I've never watched Alias.
If not, then Spielberg.
I was trying to angle this with Bean and the LOTR trilogy. Watching the Extended Cut of all 3 would knock off a month at a time.Brings an interesting side question. JLD was in SNL .... Do we get all SNL?
She was a guest star on Curb....Do we get all Curb?
Really surprised most people are going movies - it tells me I watch too much TV.
But it also tells me folks aren’t totally understanding what solitary confinement means.

I just can't get interested in 95% of TV shows. To me they usually turn into a time waste as I am ultimately disappointed by the end. Most shows have 2-3 seasons of greatness, but stretch out way too long because they make money.Really surprised most people are going movies - it tells me I watch too much TV.

Yup. Really need quantity over quality here.
I chose hanks but I might reconsider after reading your Damon point. Like a lot of his movies.I think it needs to stay acting and directing only, not producing or writing. And the person needs to be involved in the episodes you see, so no one episode you get the whole series loophole.
After some more thinking, I think I might go Matt Damon. I would get several Kevin Smith movies (esp Chasing Amy), the Oceans movies, the Bourne movies, a few Thor movies. I'm watching Rounders probably every day, Good Will Hunting often, Oppenheimer, Air, Euro Trip (Scotty Doesn't Know). Well rounded collection. And the Weezer skit on SNL.
Tom Hanks for sure -Hanks. Excellent range as an actor. Some interesting works as a producer.
If every episode of Law & Order is the same, but they change actors, isn't it pretty much a rerun?Do we get writing credited shows too? If so, Wolf would give me:

You most assuredly get bored being only able to watch one movie every other dayI'll go with Steve Buscemi. With 175 screen credits on IMDB, I guarantee I wouldn't get bored.
He was in Sopranos. Does that mean you can watch all of the Sopranos or only the episodes he was in?You most assuredly get bored being only able to watch one movie every other dayI'll go with Steve Buscemi. With 175 screen credits on IMDB, I guarantee I wouldn't get bored.
The original post.Stolen from Reddit (who I think stole from The Ringer): You are sentence to 1 year solitary confinement, but you are allowed to take the complete works of one actor or director to entertain you. Who do you choose?
Complete works include any movies, TV shows, voice acting or directing.

I am sure the voice acting thing is a loophole someone clever could exploit
And can you watch Fargo the series because he was in Fargo the movie...He was in Sopranos. Voice acting is still acting and is a good argument for Mark Hamill.I am sure the voice acting thing is a loophole someone clever could exploit

are you trying to say that b a barracus wasnt funny he aint gettin on no plane hannibal take that to the bank brohanIf I was in solitary confinement for a year- I think the emotion of laughter/humor would be very valuable to help cope. Thus, I’d want to pick someone that has a nice volume of hilarious stuff. Off the top of my head- people like Seth Macfarlane and Trey Parker come to mind.
Can I pick home movies of my kids growing up? I’ve already seen all the movies I like multiple times already.
