"Shameless" (1 Viewer)

I thought last nights was great. I loved every scene
I thought it was good too. The scene with Sheila/Frank role playing in the parenting class was the funniest.
:goodposting: That was first time I've liked Joan Cusack on the show. It was hilarious, especially their parenting role playing scene.
The line about what to do when your daughter returns after abandoning the baby, should she be punished with a spanking or a grounding, had me :lmao: .Two Karen mentions in back to back episodes. Wonder if it's setting the stage for her return? Mickey and Mandy's dad really is the biggest POS on this show. Wonder if Mickey is going to confront him?
Maybe Mickey was doing that as payback for Ian trying to run while Mickey was getting the beaten out of him? (though Mickey probably didn't even see that)Or maybe he was just trying to demonstrate his newfound heterosexuality to his dad?
I meant why would he stay with him after getting beat up by his dad and having a gun held to his head. Ian knows Mickey sleeps with women too, there was that fat chick on the porch that he called out to when the two of them were walking together. Didn't Mickey's dad walk in on them once in the first or second season and pretty much ignore them? I guess he was still drunk from the night before?

After the beatdown he just got I doubt it. "Send over the Russian" and it turns out to be a chick (although at first I thought it was a tranny) was a great twist.

I thought it was going to be a tranny as well. Or some guy to torture Ian. Definitely did not see the chick to come "ride the gay out of him" thing coming. Was a good twist indeed.

That scene was a water through the nose laughing moment. I also thought the second scene where Kev was about to do the mom was very funny too. Overall though, not Shameless' best effort.

The stuff with Kev and V's mom was definitely ridiculous, but the name of the show is Shameless. I'm guessing each of the scenarios that happen within this group has been done in real life by someone at some point in time, just probably never all by the same group. But I'm fine with it being absurd and ridiculous and just enjoying the nonsense, because I know that someone somewhere is actually doing these things and I'm fine that they roll it all into one family/community. The show is funny and poignant and at a lot of times very real, and I don't think the insane antics detract from it.

Great episode.... It said there was nudity but I must have missed it.....I paused it, I'll admit it

There was the old lady and, more importantly, Jimmy's smoking hot wife. Nice tuckus on her.Hopefully, the make up for the small amount of nudity this week with a Karen/Mandy/Lip 3-way. Or just a Karen-Mandy 2-way. Work it out, Lip.

I was joking of course I remember the old lady

Finally got to watch the episode last night. Was one of my favorite of the season so far. Frank in court - "You mean they're still my kids but she has all the responsibility?" was a great line.

Interesting that they brought Karen back, and I enjoyed the Deb vs the Foster Mom story.

Cutting the toe off the old lady didn't make much sense. Sure she lost a toe, but wouldn't a recently severed toe look completely different then a toe that was cut off years ago? Of course it would.

Overall a great episode. And any episode with that much of Jimmy's wife in it is awesome. Even the scene on the stairmaster was $$$

So were:"I'm gonna miss that little half-wit.""Made in China. Just like him." :lmao: Macey is gold in this role.

My sentiments as well. I'm more than ok with it being over the top.

Whatever happened to the house next door that Jimmy bought so that he and Fiona could live together without the rest of the family? I remember Fiona moved into it with Jimmy for a short time but then moved back to the Gallagher residence. Did Jimmy ultimately not buy it? Did he buy it and later sell it? I just can't remember.

The cop who likes Fiona "acquired" it.

This last was a decent episode. All the different aspects of getting the cousin to lose the house were well done. I like where they're going with Macy and the guy from AA. Coming attractions for this coming episode look absolutely awesome.

I was pretty excited about Frank as an AA sponsor, but the new direction looks fun too.

Very excited for what should be an upcoming nekkid Karen scene. It's been too long. I'll miss Skankovich though. I like her.

I hate to say it, but Jimmy's kind of growing on me. It only took 4 seasons (or is this Season 3?). Better late than never.

The AA guy was great, giving Frank a meatball sub and Bears highlites.

Did he say he used to drink a keg of beer before breakfast?

I wonder if Jimmy having dinner with his former med school classmates (was Jimmy in med school??? I don't remember that.) is setting up for future hyjinks? Jimmy runs a scam on them...gets them to invest in his coffee shop?

I think he dropped out but didn't want his family to know. His family thought he was still in med school several years after he stopped going.

Was watching the movie "The Bodyguard" and saw a young Joan Cusack. Movie was made in 1980. Looked up her bio and she's only 51. Hasn't aged very well.

Fantastic episode tonight and only half way through...

Fiona so hot in that work skirt...V is the love if my life...Debbie is great, Karen is scum...and Lip needs to make it official with the skankovich.

...I feel scummy now for calling Karen scum  Wow skankovich is hardcore :boxing:

Fiona in her work outfit was the hottest she looked this season. Wow.

Show is killing it this year. Every episode is fantastic.

Loved the episode. Frank was gold as always, and the interaction between Lip and the MIT guy was well done.

That's what I've thought all season, but the attempted murder with a vehicle would give me pause. If that was the whole story, maybe you stick around. Goes a little overboard when some slut bangs your boyfriend and calls to brag about? Maybe you go with it.

It started as a little bit possessive and meddling, but when it moves up to running over ex-GFs, that's probably a deal breaker.

"Be sure to check behind the grill for hair.":lmao:Like I said before, dark in a hurry.
That line really brings forth the heartlessness of the characters. Total matter-of-fact statement by the brother. It was like saying "oh, you have a little bit of ketchup on the left side of your mouth".This is a fantastic show and the characters (for the most part) are fantastically casted.

I think there's more to it. Skanovich cares and wants Lip to be better, Karen is destructive. She has seen this for awhile, Lip is just realizing it. Karen still wants to destroy, so Skank does what she feels is necessary, and well, look at her brothers... makes sense to her :)

Crazy often starts with the best of intentions, as Mandy certainly has. When the person that wants what's best for you will stop at nothing, without regard for your wishes, and will throw all reason out the window in the pursuit of meddling, you've bagged a crazy chick.

This is all moot though. She's just driven Lip right back into the evil arms of Karen, once Lip realizes what's happened.
