If I did weekly rankings, he'd have been WR2 behind only Hill this week. Shocking how ineffective the Lions passing game has been besides one big play to Williams.

Why did Goff throw a 1.5 yard pass to a covered receiver on 3rd and 4? Plays like that are what I dislike most about Goff.

And now he does it again. Maybe it’s the play design. Maybe nobody else was open. Maybe he wanted LaPorta to have the chance to make a play.

Seems like he’s taking what the defense gives, which in both cases was the opportunity to punt.

I dont have an issue with taking the few yards and a punt when nothing is there. He's not super mobile, and it's better then a sack....

That said, pretty sure someone was breaking open in the intermediate area on that last pass

Honestly don't think it was the action as the ball arrived that drew the flag, but the action as the WR was bending his route and the Qb was releasing the ball.
