Snickers are basically the worst candy bar, right? (1 Viewer)

If by worst you mean best then I agree
Wow, this thread is an awesome way for us to separate those who get it and those who don't. We can refer back to this in the middle of some stupid political debate and be like "wait a minute, that guy backed Snickers. LOL IGNORE HIM."
Says the guy whose avatar is a cookie that everybody disassembles to get to the edible part.
Yes Oreos are much worse than a Snickers. Seriously its a fake cookie made with no dairy. A confectionery abomination. You need to dip that artificial dog biscuit in actual milk to make it edible. Oreos are much worse at cookies than Snickers is at candy bars.
You need to step back and re-think things.

You need to expand your options beyond what is sold at 7-11. Go eat anything from an actual bakery and report back.

Lol I've had delicious stuff at amazing bakeries. Can I report back now?

He's not totally wrong. Double Stuff Oreos are great; single stuff OTOH...

Kids fell in love with 'Mega-Stuf' Golden Oreos this fall. High filling to cookie ratio, and golden cookies better than chocolate.

ETA: The problem is there are about a half dozen to a package!

Now this is what I'm talking about.

As a kid, if I got a Mounds bar from your house on Halloween, I'd fire it onto your roof so it got stuck in the gutter. Just an abomination that should be eradicated from this Earth.

Only read the first few posts of this thread. I agree with Otis. Snickers is awful and anyone who doesn't like 3 Musketeers is :loco:
That fluff inside 3 Musketeers bars is heinous. And that waxy milk chocolate is low grade dog food.
I've never tasted low grade dog food so I'll need to take your word.
Ever had a steak with marks from where the jockey was hitting it?
Zow gets it.

When rummaging through the kids Halloween loot, I eat:

First: kit kat, almond joy, twix, Reese's, mr. Goodbar, Heath

Second: snickers, peanut m&m's, baby Ruth

Last: Milky Way, 3 musketeers, butterfinger, nestle crunch

Mr. Goodbar severely underrated judging by this thread. Chocolate and peanuts, so simple, yet so delicious. I used to eat a bag of peanut clusters a week. Big fan of the combo

Swap Mr Goodbar with Butterfinger and this is exactly what I do.

1. Hershey's - Sure there are other chocolates, and better chocolates, but the Hershey bar is the quintessential chocolate bar. This is due to its ubiquitous nature.

2. Snicker's. Not my favorite, but a solid candy bar by any measure. Its popularity over the last several decades cannot be ignored.

3. Baby Ruth. A solid contender which benefits from its appearance in Caddy Shack.

4. Butterfingers. Tastes great fresh or stale, and really makes a solid showing in D.Q. Blizzards and pies.

5. Heath Bar. Toffee is old school, so it is often overlooked, but old school has its place. Also solid in Blizzards.

Milky Ways and Three Musketeers are never a true disappointment when freely available, like in the kids Halloween bag. They just don't make the top five.

Reese's are probably no more candy bars than are Nut Rolls, Hershey's Kisses, or M & M's. Good to great treats all, but not candy bars.

I don't know what to do with the Toblerone. Always enjoyable, but occupying a weird marketing position.

Mounds and Almond joys are more of a change of pace candy bar.

Chocolate covered cookies are not candy bars simply by inclusion in the candy section of the store.
Good list, but for some reason I despise Baby Ruth's these days.
I'm half way there with you. As a kid they were tops, now, when I have one, it leaves me wanting somehow.

So I just ate a Payday. Don't think I've ever had one before. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I think I like the concept, the peanuts were solid, but the "caramel" was a bit more chalky than I was expecting. Definitely not better than Snickers.

I am not a milk chocolate fan.  Different candy bars I used to like as a kid - I haven't liked in years.

Still like the dark versions when they are available - and Mounds bars.  I love coconut now - when I was a kid I would have barfed.

I was in the pharmacy waiting on prescriptions the other day and thought of this thread when scanning their candy bar choices. It is an independent pharmacy without extensive choices, just the typical basic stuff. Snickers was easily the top choice.

Here are my favorites off the top of my head.

Twix, Reeses, York,  Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, Snickers, Almond Joy, Skor, Hersheys with Almonds, Mr. Goodbar, Nestle Crunch, Mounds.

I hate Butterfinger and dislike Baby Ruth.

if youre a peanut fa,  snickers is the greatest candy bar of all time. theyre even better when frozen.

I'm intrigued by the idea of a "peanut free agent", but wouldn't they think that Payday was the greatest candy bar of all time?  I mean....those are pretty much all peanuts, and it claims it's going to pay you right there in the title.  That's usually pretty important to every free agent.
