I watched everything very closely and got a good deal in Section 116 because I bought Super Bowl tickets through the same source and got a discount. Not cheap by any means but $1000 each for those is not a good deal at all.

No, he SOLD them each for that price. He is a season ticket holder and got first dibs. When he bought the tickets from the Tigers for face, he put them on Stubhub. The price is going down now because the market is flooded. I wish I didn't live so far away, or I would try to get in for face. There are a ton of them on Craigslist right now.
