Soaring Eagle

quick recap...
seems like everyone here loves the message boards picks...
That's probably because they are basing their picks on the FBG rankings which is made by the staffers...
Drafting out of the 5 spot we liked addai and westbrook...our decision was made for us when pasq took westy...
We were hoping to get another top flight rb fall to us in the 2nd which happened with Benson....
We are very pleased with our top 2 picks...
The 3rd round reversal really made an impact...
We were hoping for Evans at 3.10 but he went at 3.5 which would have been our pick in a normal serpentine...Andre Johnson and Boldin went off the board before our pick who we also liked. We were still very happy to get Colston who we saw as the last WR that tier....
Already having 2 rb and seeing a lot of WR on our next tier we felt the value was at QB...we really liked McNabb here as when healthy he can have huge games...Obviously we are hoping he stays healthy this year...He has an easy schedule and we felt he was the clear #2 QB behind Manning....
We were really hoping for Galloway at 5.5 but pasquino took him before us....We were not thrilled with Holmes but he was the best WR on our board...
We felt T Gonz was a great value at 6.10...We felt his numbers would be close to any WR still left at this point also....
K Jones was a gamble...I think he will play at least 10 games this year...If he plays he is a top 12 RB especially with the 0.5 ppr...With a flex we thought this was a high upside pick...
Pasquino again took our pick in the 8th taking the Ravens def...we then took Devery Henderson to balance Colston figuring at least one of them should have a solid game a week....
We tried filling the rest of our roster out with high upside players (especially wr since we felt that was our weakest spot thus far)...With Wade, Ginn, Jacoby Jones, Gaffney and Avant I feel that we can have solid production from our top 3 WR
NE and Phi should provide solid Def #s
Akers and Folk should be adequate kickers...
Pope and Sheffer are high upside TEs to pair with Gonzo...
It seems like we are getting a lot of slack for picking 4 QBS on 2 teams...However injuries are a big part of the NFL with QBs being very prone...I feel by doing this we are gauranteing that we will have a starting QB each week which I am sure some teams might not have by mid season...
Everyone has different strategies and projections which is what makes FF so fun...If we were all drafting off of the same projections with same strategies this would be a very boring hobby...
Thanks for choosing us to be in this league...It was a lot of fun drafting with the posters and staffers...
Best of luck to everyone
I apologize for any gramatical errors or typos but it is now 2:06 AM here on the east coast and i just wanted to get some of my thoughts out there....
