Steeler fans (1 Viewer)

The fans in Pennsylvannia are going to be going NUTS.
Lets get this straight. The Steeler fans have NO "homer" feelings what-so-ever for the Eagles because they are in the same state.... NONE! They are just another team in the NFL, and I'm sure the Eagles fans feel the same way.

Steeler fans know how to travel....just got back from the game tonight and there had to be 20-25K Steeler fans including 4 of mine from Orlando.
I was there from Orlando as well. My entire row and the row behind me was full of Steeler fans.I didn't get home until 3:00 AM. What a cluster#### the parking situation is there....
one of the benefits of being a local is knowing the good parking spots. You cannot park near that stadium and expect to be out in an hour. It's all about the shuttle bus system here......keep that in mind when you're back here in February.I want to put my 2 spare rooms up for rent, but I have enough Steeler fans in my herd of friends to book my couch, recliner, air mattress, and a tent on my back porch

:stillers: :stillers: :stillers: Went to the game last night. That place was electric. I think Bettis has reached a sort of "royalty" state in the Burgh.

Not for nothing guys..but the officials were not going to let the Steelers lose that game. C'mon..twelve penalties called against the least penalized team in the league..at least half were absolutely garbage calls.

Chad Pennington was not going to let the Steelers lose that game. :stillers:

And at least that many didn't get called. Maybe whining is a prerequisite to being in the AFC East?:stillers:

 The refs must have been paid off, then. Only one call I saw was even questionable, the hold on Becht when Lamont broke his 30-yarder. Other than that, every call was absolutely inarguable. I don't know where you get this "half the calls were garbage" argument..Stop crying and take your beating like a man. Maybe if Pennington hadn't thrown a pick every time the Jets threatened to score, they might have won the game.:stillers:

Here are the real stars of the game for Pittsburgh:Officials: Referee-Walt Anderson, Umpire-Butch Hannah, Head Linesman-Derick Bowers, Line Judge-Gary Arthur, Field Judge-Bill Lovett, Side Judge-Jeff Lamberth, Back Judge-Billy Smith.

Yep..Pittsburgh certainly dominated the game  Jets Steelers First Downs 15 15 Rushing 8 6 Passing 7 6 Penalty 0 3 3rd-Down efficiency 8-15-53% 5-12-42% 4th-Down efficiency 0-0--% 0-0--% Total net yards 296 262 Total plays 63 53 Average gain 4.7 4.9 Net yards rushing 107 120 Rushes 32 31 Average per rush 3.3 3.9 Net yards passing 189 142 Completed-attempted 17-31 10-20 Yards per pass 6.1 6.5 Sacked-yards lost 0-0 2-12 Had intercepted 3 2 Return Yardage 95 118 Punts-returns 2-14 2--6 Kickoffs-returns 3-58 3-39 Interceptions-returns 2-23 3-85 Penalties-yards 12-84 2-15 Fumbles-lost 1-0 1-0 Time of Possession 30:48 29:12

Where are the stats for :Drives into the red zoneBad interceptions thrown at critical times in the game?Look those up and you'll see why the Jets lost. Don't blame the refs... they didn't make the Jets commit 86 false start, delay of game, and illegal contact penalties. I'd chalk that up to crowd noise, nervousness, and undisciplined play. :stillers:

Good info here! :rotflmao:  Keep digging.

Herbert the Hippo needs a hug.I'd suggest asking Chad Pennington to give you one, but he might miss you and end up hugging a Stiller instead. There is really only one relevant statistic that I need to provide:17-6 :stillers: :stillers: :stillers:

Leave the Jet fan be...he's all alone right now... in a dark, dark place. The refs got the one call wrong, but thems the breaks. The Steelers, I felt, got the short end of a few calls in Jax. It all evens out inthe end.... thats why I never bring it up....and you shouldn't either.

Oh yeah..I'm starting a petition to remove Lynne Swann from the Hall Of Fame. He absolutely does not belong there. I'm going after Franco next!!

Is he related to Lynn Swann?
You know they're desperate when they attack the spelling of a name. Lynne or Lynn..it's still a gaaaaeeee name for a guy.
You're making fun of a guy's name who hasn't played for the Steelers in 20+ years, and we are the desperate ones. Do you offer any critical thinking classes I may sign up for? :nerd: :stillers::stillers::stillers::stillers::stillers::stillers:
