Aloha gb, aloha3 episodes into the second season of Dark. I like to pretend I know what's going on.
That stripper pretended like she knew what she what was going onHey buddy.
I've been planning to start Season 2. But damned if I can remember the details from Season One. And the Season One recap videos I've been able to find have only left me more confused.shuke said:3 episodes into the second season of Dark. I like to pretend I know what's going on.

I missed the male full frontal. Was there a superhero schlong in there? I did see quite a few dude's butt cheeks ...People on the internet are scary sometimes. I looked at a couple of 1 star reviews for The Boys, and ….
No.
Sorry.
Any show that has full frontal male nudity but only topless "nudity" for females deserves to have every participant lined up against a wall and shot. Disgusting.
Same here. I binged through it like any other summer guilty pleasure. Its not The Wire or anything near that level, but the commitment is pretty minimal and it was fun. It’s dark, irreverent, obscene and hyper-violent. That said, I find it curiously entertaining and am enjoying it quite a bit. And frankly, if superheroes did actually exist, I feel like reality would be closer to The Boys than to The Avengers.

I think you see shlong once or twice we he appears in the bathroom. The invisible dude was nekid.
Yeah I don't know what to say about this except that this show at its worst is a lot better than tripe.I just finished S1. It was good fun, moving along for me until the last two episodes maybe. They were terrible! The writing was just piss-poor. I'm have a high opinion of Cillian Murphy as an actor but he cannot elevate that kind of tripe.
We wrapped it up...is anybody watching HBO's years and years?
sci-fi political satire kinda sorta. a bit of black mirror with a bit of family drama ala this is us with lots of just a touch in the future taking current global socio-politics to extremes.
it's interesting, depressing, worthwhile, frustrating all at the same time.
I was just saying the same thing! Started season two and was immediately confused because I don’t think I remember what happened in season one (even though I really really liked season one). Hoping Wikipedia episode recaps will help.I've been planning to start Season 2. But damned if I can remember the details from Season One. And the Season One recap videos I've been able to find have only left me more confused.

those final two episodes of S1 were god awful. it wasn't on par with S2 of Handmaids Tale, which was enough to make me stop watching entirely, but there's not a lot of trust going forward. there's a lot to like about the series but i'm becoming wary.jdoggydogg said:Yeah I don't know what to say about this except that this show at its worst is a lot better than tripe.
my lady and i just finished the widow with kate beckinsale which i pronounce beck in sal lay because that gives it a little flair anyhow my lady and i liked it just swell take that to the bank brochachos
I still haven't forced myself to watch the final episode yet, but it feels like required viewing. The Ken Burns documentary is on Prime as a great companion piece. When They See Us...hyped re-telling of the Central Park Five case. I watched it all but could not watch more than one episode every few days since each episode left me fuming.
Agreed. It took us several weeks to watch them all. Finished last night. Just as angry at the end as I was in the beginning. When They See Us...hyped re-telling of the Central Park Five case. I watched it all but could not watch more than one episode every few days since each episode left me fuming.
Finished 3Below. Very good animated series. Kinda of a kids show but Nick Offerman kills it. Next up is Wizards, which should premier sometime this yearTrollhunters. For kids but worth watching. The final episode is amazing.
just started 3Below the second part of the Tales of Arcadia trilogy. Lots of characters from Trollhunter, but worth it for Nick Offerman.![]()

Did you guys watch the Oprah follow up? There's no happy ending.facook said:Agreed. It took us several weeks to watch them all. Finished last night. Just as angry at the end as I was in the beginning.
I thought it got repetitive over the seasons but the start (maybe S2 too) was pretty good. Thanks - I will add this to my queue. The movie is one of my faves, but I just never gave it a shot - mostly because I thought it would be a bad knock off and it seemed like the few things I tried on SyFy was cheesy as hell so I wrote off the channel. The Expanse changed my mind a bit on the channel, so I will give this a go.
Looking forward to Watchmen.....Just buzzed through "The Boys" the last couple of days. I'm not a superhero show guy but I enjoyed it.
Great idea of humanizing super heroes with all the terrible traits many people would have in those circumstances.
And though not great, you didn't hate the protagonists.
i was lukewarm to S1 mostly but i'll still very willing to give S2 a try.JB Breakfast Club said:
3 episodes in and I like it very much. The Boys is fantastic.
I really liked it and the ending was obvious (to me) and should make an interesting next season. I liked the characters although glad about the person who’s gone now.The Boys is fantastic.
I barely made it through episode 1 of this series. Gave it the benefit of the doubt because it has its own thread here started by the venerable Mr. Tremblay, but had to tap out about 15 minutes into episode 2. Cliched, stupid writing.Amazon Prime has Billions season 1 available now for a limited time. I think it’s only been available on Showtime until now. Ima try to binge it.
Yep. I didn't enjoy it at all.I barely made it through episode 1 of this series. Gave it the benefit of the doubt because it has its own thread here started by the venerable Mr. Tremblay, but had to tap out about 15 minutes into episode 2. Cliched, stupid writing.
I watched episode 1 and liked it way more than I expected. It looks like some fun.The Boys is fantastic.
just wrapped it up. had the same response (especially after mistakenly thinking it was supposed to be a Tick/Mystery Men type of superhero satire/comedy) and yes- it's fun and consistent. really solid summer show.I watched episode 1 and liked it way more than I expected. The actor who plays Homelander is fantastic. Dominates every scene he's in.just wrapped it up. had the same response (especially after mistakenly thinking it was supposed to be a Tick/Mystery Men type of superhero satire/comedy) and yes- it's fun and consistent. really solid summer show.
He's great. I enjoyed almost all of them...the deep and shue were consistent weak points for me, but the formers character is also the least developed and/or interesting. Shue, otoh...The actor who plays Homelander is fantastic. Dominates every scene he's in.
After the first 4 episode I was ready to pack it in, but it finished strong so yeah it ended up fantastic. The Boys is fantastic.
