This year has had more value at QB than any other that I can remember. Could have had a nice 4-5 QB's without spending much. Seems different from previous years (except the year Kurt Warner was $5). All of the guys below have easily outplayed their pricetags:

Any combo of these guys has been golden this year. Meanwhile, Peyton, Brees and Luck have struggled, Ben got hurt, and a whole lot of meh for the higher priced guys. Even Brady was a deal at $14. I don't remember any season being quite like this at the QB position in this contest.

Made it past the week 5 bye without 5 of my 21 roster. AP, Landry and TE Cameron pretty big pieces out on bye. Thankfully, D Martin came thru, A Hurns and Julio salvaged his day with fumble recovery and Eifert avoided his week 3 goose egg. Whew!

I wasn't worried about week 6 until Martin showed up and now Scobee is lost so I've no PK. I almost wish i would've used my last $3 (allocated on 9/9) on a 3rd PK instead of C Michaels. Anyone ever make it to the finish line without a PK?

Julio and the TEs are leading the way, with TEs earning 7 of my 10 flex starts. Bell & Martin have been huge the past couple weeks, but RB is my most fragile position (what with Lynch's injury and Anderson's terribleness). 2 of my PKs have lost their jobs, but those losses aren't fatal thanks to my 4 PK approach. The 4 DST approach is also going pretty well, with Atlanta having a couple big games, Tennessee having one 14-pointer, and New Orleans having a big one tonight.

I'm going to need a good game from Brady or Bradford and both Gronk and Olsen. It wouldn't hurt to have a surprise performance from Dorsett or Lockett either.

I'm hoping I can hold off the Turk one more week. If I can survive, I feel really good about making a deep run.

Reading the tea leaves mostly. He is listed as questionable and wasn't able to practice until Friday, but was limited. They signed a RB off the practice squad for the game. The other threads on Forsett are not optimistic. It's a game time decision, but I have my doubts.

Happy that my tea leaf reading isn't very accurate. Getting 17 from Forsett was a nice surprise.
