D-Williams was a stupid pick thinking he might give me 5 pts this week and win this week's game and have him next week as well for another 5 pts...5 pts was all I was asking....

Well I was banking on under 5,000 entries and that my top 2 scoring Dallas players would carry me into the top 4000 then was hoping CJ Anderson would give enough pts to carry me with the other 4 players plus 5 stinking pts from Williams into the 3rd round shall remain to be seen but with the uptick in prices making cuts harder there is a chance you won't need as many SB players to win as in past year.

Didn't put a lot of thought into this and Dallas making the SB is a longshot to begin with but sure makes it easier then trying to get 4 bye teams in.

A non winner for sure but here is mine

You got me covered if you survive.

Went all in on Bengals and Cowboys. It's unlikely that it happens but I'll have a good shot if it does. Saw another team with mostly Bengals and Panthers. Also need Panthers and Broncos to play 2 games.

Need to somehow escape week 1 with 7 players going but those players are very little used by their teams. Need to steal a TD or two from them to help with my week 1 score. Need CAR / BAL / IND / DAL to advance to max out my week 2 players. Counting on a DAL / SEA NFC championship game

ETA: Kind of surprised at the lack of SEA / NE Super Bowl matchup posted so far.

Also seeing a definite trend of no kickers or defenses selected. At their high prices it was hard to justify the money for the points.

The only rule I dislike is RB only gets 0.5 PPR that is so 2003 rules when LT and Priest Holmes dominated. That should be a straight 1 PPR for RB and WR's now. No major high stakes contest uses 0.5 RB PPR anymore.

Lol. Legitimate question. Mine was a very last minute effort (did not start until 3:30 PM ET) and this was first time I participated. I see now that I failed miserably at coming up with the right strategy to make the cut while still fielding a potential SB winner. It's really a great contest and I wish I would have started working on it sooner as I would have done a much better job had I taken my time and thought it through. Oh well, thems theres the breaks.

Looking at it now and actually doing projections, it's clear to me that I blew it. I thought that I would focus on trying to get high scoring players from high scoring teams that would make it to the SB where all could play if some how I got the right players to let me make the cut each week. Stupidly, I forgot only 2 could count each week from the same team. I did the projections (rather generous on my part) and unless the cut off is way low, it's clear I wasted my entry. Hahahaha.....oh well. Maybe next year now that I actually get it. I need to give myself more time next year. Good luck to those of you who took the time to understand the nuances and formulate an actual strategy that could work!!! Happy New Year.

You have a great shot to advance the next two weeks. Not enough firepower for a Super Bowl though. the winner last year had 14 players going.

LOL, my long time entry had PIT in the conference championship. My last minute changed entry had them in the Super Bowl. Love it.

Glllllll to everyone else.

Need a good game from Bell. 44.75 with him left after today. Shoulda gone Fozzy/Dickson instead of Fells :( woulda had an extra 8.1 points - not to mention 2 more guys alive. Glad I went with Baltimore though :)

I picked every Bronco worth owning plus Aaron Rodgers and Jordy. That's my super bowl setup. I chose Flacco, Torrey, Steve Smith, Ravens Def, Detroit kicker to get thru the opening round hopefully still alive. I'm glad to accumulate Ravens for the next round.

I had the Steelers going to the SB as well, until the almost-last-minute change to NE.

Might not matter as I took too much risk in round 1.

Had Tolbert/Dickson and switched them out for DeAngelo. Sigh. Good lesson for next year.
I'm not following the lesson, especially how it relate to Pitt in the SB.
LOL, not a lesson about PIT SB. That was just a swing and miss based on value. More about getting multiple players instead of one "better" player, particularly if that player is just coming back from injury. Dumb move.

You do realize only 2 of those Ravens count. Right?
