Damn. Need this cat to be healthy. Hopefully nothing too bad.
Seemed fine w/zero signs of injury in the second half.
The Saints just hung back, ran the ball without urgency, huddled up and succeeded with their goal of making it home in time for the 6 o'clock news.

Glad I didn't need him to go off this week, but he looked fine and just didn't see the targets.
For those that watched and listened to the game, you know that the announcers (Gumble and Green) were wondering out loud during the last 20 minutes of the game re why the Saints were taking their time dink & dunking it in the pass game and still running with some consistency.
The Saints should be a "pass-to-setup-the-run" team the way the Packers are. And you know what? ...when you look at the pass/run ratio yesterday it does not indicate that they ran too much. HOWEVER, it's how they ran, how they passed and their general lack of urgency and lack of a vertical attack that makes it appear as if they are grounding and pounding.

The Bengals had Pacman Jones on him the whole game. It seems like a major physical mismatch in Graham's favor but Brees largely stood down.

The playcalling the whole game was a mystery. In general Payton's play-calling has been unimaginative since his return. It's really an open question around here what's going on. Brees does have a serious lack of receiving options these days though and no Pierre and no Sproles means very little in teh screen game which has often been a staple of theirs. A lot of what Graham has done in the past has been sort of a high-low routine with Brees to him, Pierre and Sproles.

Clearly Graham called Brees aside and told him to call somebody else's number last week and that strategy failed. In fantasy football you have to be one step ahead. Even Graham doesn't have an answer for the ### clown rapist. Look for him to disappear next week again, then for him to bounce back outside the dome week 13 for an away game.
I mean, jeez, this is what NO fans do to their OWN TEAM!!! Imagine what they would do to a rival or, say even just a fan from another team.

ya, its crazy that he hasnt been in on every single goal to go play. cant complain with gl targets tho, i guess. he shoulda had the 2nd too.
also, its super crazy they have 335 yards of offense and he only has 15 yards. does seem that ravens are covering him well, but also doesnt seem that brees is looking his way much. probably should change some in the 2nd half as their corners have been getting torched deep and they may need to give safety help.

1) The snap count is puzzling. He looks like he is 90%+ health-wise; maybe they're just trying to keep him fresh...but RZ snaps too? That's the area of concern that I cannot resolve.
2) Yards: The lack of deep balls will likely resolve itself soon. There is no reason that they wont start sending him deeper. That means yards. Im not giving up on the probability of 1 or 2 100 yd games the rest of the way.
3) Goalline: Even despite the few RZ snaps he sat, is there any team focused on getting a player the ball at the goalline more than the Saints right now with Graham? And that's including RBs. Not many.
4) Schedule: Graham is still my #1 projected TE from here on out as he has a high probability of getting meaningful minutes in week 16 and 17

For a few min there on the late 1st half drive it looked like the offense got their mojo back. Then they seemed to fall back into the same missteps and struggled second half while their defense just can not get off the field.
Kills me how much they try to run at the goal line when it's not exactly their strength.

No one is complaining about the TDs. Just really hasn't been a big yardage guy thus far and, beyond the big 16 TDs last year, that's the main thing that historically has separated himself from just about everyone not named Gronk.
he had a torrid start in ppr.

then he got hurt and sucked for 2 games. then put up 6 tds in 5 games. you really cant ask for much better of a season.

I don't know if you saw the 3rd and goal pass at the end of the 2nd quarter. Brees' pass to Graham was a little behind him which allowed the DB to break up the pass. If Brees leads him a little it's #2 of 3 TDs.

Brees and Graham actually put up good numbers the past week. I just don't think Brees is gonna throw for 5 TDs anymore. But what pisses me off the most is even when they're down big they're still trying to establish the run. They need to do what they're good at and it's throwing the damn ball over over the place...

But...........to who? Cooks out. Graham (while great) isn't 100%. Colston is still ok but a shell. Their RBs aren't all that good out of the backfield compared to what they used to have with Sproles.
I mean, I agree they should probably be whipping it around more, but I really dont think it's going to bring them much more success, if any, than trying to be balanced.
It would probably help if they took a bit of the Patriots approach and run 40 times when you play a team with a not so good run D (see Colts game), and when you do play a team with a really good run D then just throw it a ton (see Lions game).
ANd I dont know what this crazy "Jimmy hasnt been dominant" talk is all about from some people. In 1 point PPR leagues he is scoring like 18 points per game played, which seems rather dominant. I only own him in one league, but he is a HUGE reason why I am doing so well in that league. Jesus, half his games this year are the types of games where getting those kinds of points from your TE basically win you your matchup. And while he hasnt looked as good as before he hurt the shoulder, he is still producing more than well enough to justify pretty much any drop spot where you might have taken him.
