thats ok. knock that adp to a later round. I like him better at his ADP than I do Bowers at his own ADP
I was disagreeing with you soon as I read that, but yeah. 100%
If you pass on Bowers, you get a great player still. You pass on LaPorta, you might get nothing good at all.
Where LaPorta is going, you are getting the safest floor of players in that area, AND the last exciting guy at a position with scarcity.
true.
and coming from a guy who is a Pete Carroll fan, TEs in Carrolls offensive system have a history of not producing to their potential.
not to be the bearer of bad news, but go look at Carrolls history. the TE position has been (for the most part) a barren wasteland. only exception. One year (I forget which one) they traded for the Saints TE Jimmy Graham. At that time he was widely regarded as the BEST TE in the NFL. He spent 3 years in Seattle. had a Meh year, then he was TE3 the following year. then another Meh year and then he was traded.
I love Pete Carroll. he does a lot of things right. but managing TE is one thing hes not good at. Bowers will get lots of action because they have nobody else to throw to. but I think this team will run the ball a whole lot more than they have in the past. My prediction is that Bowers will be the TE3 or TE4 this year. I'd be very surprised if he ends up the TE1 for all of the NFL.
I do hope I'm wrong. I am a fan. but Carrolls record suggests there is more risk here than what most people realize.
