At least you didn't have the draft before news broke of their injuriesUgh, have pick 6 tonight and now with Kupp and Kelce hurt it doesn't look as great
Kelce and Dotson. Not sure #5 overall is "falling to me"Fell to me at #5 on the FFPC…. Boom goes the Dynamite
Guy was great last year, BUT he is 34. I know it's TE premium but there is risk he starts to decline even if he doesn't do the dive off the cliff.
Tyreek and Hockenson or Kelce and McLaurin?
Assuming the top 5 are JJ/CMC/Chase/Ekeler/Hill, take Bijan.Ugh, have pick 6 tonight and now with Kupp and Kelce hurt it doesn't look as great
Yep I mean walking off is better than being carted off but no guarantee that he’s ok for the year.
Thinking Barkley only becsuse I have Bijan in 2 other leagues so farAssuming the top 5 are JJ/CMC/Chase/Ekeler/Hill, take Bijan.Ugh, have pick 6 tonight and now with Kupp and Kelce hurt it doesn't look as great

Source?No link but I just saw on Twitter/X that it's 2 weeks
Curious if you made this declaration BEFORE Kelce got injured...let's play devil's advocate here... the dude is 33 years old , and at some point, the wheels fall off, and the production suffers. it's going to happen sooner or later. I don't get why we're quick to criticize a D. Henry with an insane amount of usage at 29 years old, but a guy with equal usage from his own position is Kelce, a guy who is 4 years older than Henry!
IMO Kelce was best left to others to draft him this season, the high capital investment on a 33 yr old body was just too much for my liking. There's no way he should've been selected in the first round of drafts .
I was looking at Twitter/X on my phone and didn't see their names but they did have the "blue checkmark" which means they're legit, verified users.Source? No link but I just saw on Twitter/X that it's 2 weeks

Kelce should probably just skip the Lions game, if your knee is already hurt, getting it bitten a bunch isn't gonna help.
I'm gonna hop in a draft right now and try to get some discounted Kelce.
Ugh, have pick 6 tonight and now with Kupp and Kelce hurt it doesn't look as great
Right. As somebody who drafted Kelce in the first in two leagues last night, I wish I wasn't picking until tonight.Ugh, have pick 6 tonight and now with Kupp and Kelce hurt it doesn't look as great
Pick somebody else?

This new info looks promising about him only missing a week or two, but is anyone else really uncomfortable reading the words "knee" and "swelling" together in the same Tweet?Adam Schefter

After tests today, the Chiefs believe Travis Kelce’s ACL is intact, per source. There is inflammation in his knee, and they will test it again Wednesday to determine his availability for Thursday night vs. the Lions.

I'm told #chiefs TE Travis Kelce has appeared to avoid a long term injury after hyperextending his knee in practice today. As it looks right now for his status Thursday or this being a 1-2 week injury ... a lot will depend on fast the swelling goes down.

Not anymore. It just means they ponied up like 8$ for the checkmark. Unless it's a known sports person like Schefty, all tweets should be taken with a mountain of salt.I was looking at Twitter/X on my phone and didn't see their names but they did have the "blue checkmark" which means they're legit, verified users.
They always do that. Any knee injury turns them into softballs or volleyballs. This new info looks promising about him only missing a week or two, but is anyone else really uncomfortable reading the words "knee" and "swelling" together in the same Tweet?Adam Schefter

Have they done an MRI yet? This is the best case scenario IMO. They were being cautious and why not? Injuries happen and glad he avoided a big one.
Yup. All goodHave they done an MRI yet? This is the best case scenario IMO. They were being cautious and why not? Injuries happen and glad he avoided a big one.

You should drink after the draft, not before.Sorry guys....it's my fault. Finally threw tradition out the window this season and grabbed him in the 1st round in two different leagues.
After all, what could possibly go wrong drafting a stud 34 year old TE in the first?
Didn't drink before or after....except the koolaid, I suppose. You should drink after the draft, not before.Sorry guys....it's my fault. Finally threw tradition out the window this season and grabbed him in the 1st round in two different leagues.

After what he accomplished last season, combined with the lack of "alpha" receivers for Mahomes, he honestly felt like a great deal in the mid-late first this year. With a little luck, maybe he still will be.
Btw, paired him with Kupp in one of those leagues. Might be a long year.....
