For other reasons I had Defending Your Life rented from the library at home. Now that it is on a tim list, I am not so sure I want to put this one in....

I was smiling as I read your various titles, but this last one made me literally laugh out loud.I promise I won’t spoil anything about the prequel, Second-to-last of the Mohicans, or the direct to video sequels, Natty Bumpo’s Revenge, and Hey, Turns Out There Was One More Mohican.
Would probably be Top 10 for me.80. Se7en (1995)
Directed by: David Fincher
Starring: Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Spacey, Gwyneth Paltrow
Synopsis: A serial killer attempts to reenact the Seven Deadly Sins.
Wanting people to listen, you can’t just tap them on the shoulder anymore. You have to hit them with a sledgehammer, and then you notice you’ve got their strict attention. - Kevin Spacey as John Doe.
Adjectives I would use to describe this film, which I watched on opening weekend: Gross. Disgusting. Horrifying. Fascinating. Dark. Depressing. Memorable. Intense. It’s one of those films that I will always remember well, but I’ve never felt the need to see it again.
I’ve watched it multiple times. It’s one of those films that I will always remember well, but I’ve never felt the need to see it again
I've posted before, but this sums up our differences when it comes to movies - I watched Se7en every night for a month in college. I've seen this one way too many times.Se7en is the best movie I never need to watch again.
Yes, there really is that many great 90s movies. Yes, most won't show up on tim's list. Why are all the good movies at the end of the countdown? Are there that many great 90s movies?
You're aren't going to remind us how great this movie is compared to each of the next 79 picks are you?Would probably be Top 10 for me.80. Se7en (1995)

Agreed, which is the exception for Madonna, not the rule but she was reined in well here. This is also Rosie O'Donnell's best movie by farEta... And I enjoyed Madonna here.
Exactly so. Even as Susan (desperately seeking), I couldnt take her, or in much else. But she was just right here.... Lol... Some line like, oops bosom, was perfect. And yeah! Rosie was much less Rosie here and also got it right.Agreed, which is the exception for Madonna, not the rule but she was reined in well here. This is also Rosie O'Donnell's best movie by farEta... And I enjoyed Madonna here.

With the exception of tripitup, it seems like most people liked this. pretty sure they made a remake of this that didn't do well.Sure in 2025, the idea of A League of their Own and especially that cast just seems absolutely horrible. But. Here me out. In 1992 it was a decent movie.

Really enjoyed League as well. Not a Rosie fan, but I think she was even better in a different ‘90s movie - just not sure it will be on Tim’s list.Agreed, which is the exception for Madonna, not the rule but she was reined in well here. I love the movie you are referring to.
You should. It is a good baseball movie with some iconic lines. Lovitz is hilarious and would have liked to have him in it a bit more. He was great in the parts he was in.I have never had any desire to watch A League of Their Own.![]()

Lovitz is not the issue/issues. I probably could have handled watching Madonna and Rosie back in 1992 but that ship has long since sailed.I really dislike Lovitz, but he is great here. You should. If anyone ever happens to pass through Rockford, Illinois, there’s a pretty cool museum dedicated to women’s baseball there.League of their Own was a fun movie- well written, acted and directed... And I learned about something I'd never heard of.
