Its not over and I'm pretty sure the producers said it'll be back.Such a great show. I'm always surprised it gets no love for an Emmy. The soundtrack is killer too.
I'm also very happy that the Kimmy story line is seemingly done, but I can't recall how it ended.
well, that's a bold statementI think you guys have just been trained to hate kid characters in TV shows.
I didn't; I heard the creators in an interview for this season say they left it open deliberately so they could go back to it, if they wanted.Such a great show. I'm always surprised it gets no love for an Emmy. The soundtrack is killer too.

Pretty sure she signed her own death warrant at the end of tonight's episode.I am really kind of hoping that they put Martha out to pasture. She is dangerous at this point. And the fallout with Phil and the Center would be pretty epic.
You can argue that Phil did too, but obviously they're not going to kill off the lead. Can't wait for next week.Pretty sure she signed her own death warrant at the end of tonight's episode.
i wasn't feeling it last night. one of the weakest episodes in a while, imo. Very slow paced, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it just seemed that every scene lingered too long on pointless or superfluous shots. There was no tightness to the editing/directing/dialogue.Great tension filled episode. Great cliff hanger also.
I was on edge the entire time. Would Phil do anything to Martha? Would Phil do anything to Gabriel? Would Kerri Russel to anything to Martha? Would she do anything to Phil when she realized he "showed" his true self to her? What would Gabriel do? ETc.i wasn't feeling it last night. one of the weakest episodes in a while, imo. Thought that might have been Phil's way of saying "Take care of it as I can't"![]()
I liked the episode, but I also noticed some scenes ran a little long. Example: meeting with Phillip and William over, Phillip drives away, now lets watch Dylan Baker walk away for several seconds for no real reason. Guess they just came up a little short on time and didn't want to add another scene.i wasn't feeling it last night. one of the weakest episodes in a while, imo. Yeah, he was especially good in Damages. Just looked at his imdb page and that's all I've seen him in too, although he's done a lot of network drama work.Dylan Baker is great in this, btw. Of all the stuff he's done the only other one I've actually seen is Damages and he was great in that as well.
At the beginning of the show, probably. But his relationship with Elizabeth seems to have gotten much more genuine with each passing season.the thing about Philip and Martha is that, for Philip, it's probably the most real affection anyone has ever had for him (other than his own kids)
She said she arranged for a pilot for Martha but I think she arranged to have Martha ended. So the woman at the embassy knows Martha is never going to Russia, right?
She was also arranging to have the bio weapon transported. So Russia would actually seem to be the final destination. She said she arranged for a pilot for Martha but I think she arranged to have Martha ended.
feeling about poor Martha. They also need to get the infected rat out..could be the same flightWell, there was that strange scene where the Russian knocks on the door and when he walks in she quickly closes the folder she was reading.. Then when he mentions his pilot fell through she said " no worries, I found one".. and after he leaves she kind of "smirks" as she looks back down at the folder..
Sure left me with afeeling about poor Martha.
she makes me all tingly in the pantsSo the woman at the embassy knows Martha is never going to Russia, right?
I understand that's the plan as far as Oleg and Arkady know it, but Tatiana obviously has clearances that they don't. (Example: when she won't allow Arkady into the communications room while she's sending a transmission). The conversation between her and Oleg where she told him she had a pilot definitely had a feel of her not telling him the truth.Yeah, the plan is to send Martha to Russia. There's no reason to doubt that, IMO. The plan may not come to fruition, but the pilot they were looking for was someone to fly a plane to Russia, not someone to fly a bullet into Martha's head.
So you don't think she found a pilot? How are they going to get the infected rat to Russia?I understand that's the plan as far as Oleg and Arkady know it, but Tatiana obviously has clearances that they don't. I think the phone call kinda made it clear that the rat, not Martha was the priority. Oleg and Arkady think Martha will be taken with the rat, Tatiana said to the caller something to the effect that nothing else but the rat was required. At least that's what I understood. So you don't think she found a pilot? Biological weapon development is illegal. So it is a very sensitive mission to steal bio-weapons. The rat is the sample of bioweapons in this case. Her mission is top secret and the rezidentura does not know about the details of her mission. She arranged transport of the rat, so when Oleg needed a pilot she told him she already had one. Not because she cares about getting Martha out, but because she has a thing for Oleg and is willing to jeopardize her main mission (the rat) to help Oleg (her crush).Well, there was that strange scene where the Russian knocks on the door and when he walks in she quickly closes the folder she was reading.. Not only were their parents indeed Russian spies, they were Russians. The man and woman the boys knew as Mom and Dad really were their parents, but their names were not Donald Heathfield and Tracey Foley. Those were Canadians who had died long ago, as children; their identities had been stolen and adopted by the boys’ parents.
Their real names were Andrei Bezrukov and Elena Vavilova. They were both born in the Soviet Union, had undergone training in the KGB and been dispatched abroad as part of a Soviet programme of deep-cover secret agents, known in Russia as the “illegals”. After a slow-burning career building up an ordinary North American background, the pair were now active agents for the SVR, the foreign spy agency of modern Russia and a successor to the KGB. They, along with eight other agents, had been betrayed by a Russian spy who had defected to the Americans.
and impact it had on me for quite sometime afterwards..Story in the Washington Post today echoes your thoughts:Dating myself here but.... Anyone else have "flashbacks" to seeing "The Day After" back when it was first released?? Sure, in today's movie world it wouldn't have the same impact.. .
I was 15 going on 16 and I still remember theand impact it had on me for quite sometime afterwards..

sure, but...Guess I was wrong about Martha. Sure seemed like that was what they were setting up.
Stan cracks me up. Asks for a beer and then just takes them all. Tells that stamp collector story to Gaad when he knows he's getting fired. Hard to believe his wife left him.
this is what i was thinkingWhat was the lube (or whatever it was) Liz put on Don's crotch? And why? To make him think it was....."discharge" and so they actually did the deed? I thought she was setting him up for rape blackmail, but is it just adultery?
