I taped this season, but didn't have time to watch it until now. I have 6 more episodes to go until I'm done. Great season so far.

Are you my wife? She says taped as well. I remind her often that there is no tape inside the DVR.

 
Just binged watched this the last week or so.   Up to season 4 episode 9.   Just a consistently great drama.   Everything about it is top notch except that they can't get fully nakkid.  

 
Getting into this show and midway thru season 2. Its starting to get a bit dexter-ish to me. Does the story develop any further?

I think Season 3 is where it really hit its stride. At that point, the showrunners knew FX would renew them until the end and they had one in sight.

That said, I was already all-in after Season 1 when it wasn't a sure thing that there would be a 2 so YMMV. I would stick it out through 3 and see what you think, @culdeus

I thought last season (4) was the best and I expect this one to be as good. 

 
Did it ring a wrong bell to any of you guys when Stan said to Phillip "You remember Sandra, don't you?" then launched into how he had the hots for the woman at his gym? At first, I thought he was snot-drunk, but he didn't play it that way afterwards.

Seemed like a "Stan being Stan" type of move to show that he was still pissed about the encounter Philip had with Sandra last season - that he still doesn't believe it was innocent, but didn't want to say it head on.

I have to binge watch this show, at least three episodes at a time, because I can't get enough.  Pretty sure it's my favorite show on TV right now. 

I'll be back in three weeks!

Ouch.  That was a pretty rough season premiere.   I don't expect a lot from this show but it definitely unperformed out of the gate.  Just give me something more than Walking Dead and less than Fargo and I'm happy.   

 
wow, people are critical.

most hour long shows are so obvious and dumbed down. the shot of the KGB guy eating, where the camera focuses on his phone and fades out... in another show, the camera focuses on the phone, it rings, and you're spiraling in to some fantastical crisis with a black cop, a blonde lady cop, a stiff white guy boss and a rogue bad boy cop delivering snarky throwaway lines to prove how hip he is.

the grave digging scene with no dialogue. brilliant. i had no idea wtf they were doing until they opened the crate. 

then to have Elizabeth

kill the kid who she clearly had conflicted feelings of love over
. great cap to the episode.

maybe next week there will be a 10 minute car scene, 13 explosions, 43 cops and civilians killed in a broad daylight shootout with Philip and Elizabeth and a nuke dropped in Albuquerque that results in zombies eating the main characters :shrug:

the dig scene was WAY to long.. At least have some dialogs.. 10 minutes of dig, sweat, switch, dig .. by the time they hit what they were digging for all I could think of THANK GOD that's over... I enjoyed almost everything else in the episode but when I rewatch it fast forward will be my friend. :)

I thought it was pretty obvious what they were digging for :shrug:

 
I thought that scene was definitely too long, but am so looking forward to this season.  I missed watching it.  I binged up to about halfway through s4 before I caught up and had to wait a week to see the latest episode.

Freudian, but after seeing Elizabeth I added "out" to your plot and it got a lot better. 

 
I'll miss Arkadi.  Loved that guy.    All the Russia stuff looks like it smells of rich mahogany and the FBI stuff looks like it was ordered from Office Depot.

I find myself thinking as someone on the show is talking too much.. "shut up you idiot or you'll get everyone busted" then realize I'm cheering for ruskies to get away :bag:
