John Varvatos: “Square-toed shoes. They are an outdated style that can instantly make any man look bad.…I can’t tell you the number of women who have told me that a man wearing square-toed shoes may have just lost himself a second date. Shallow? Maybe. True? Definitely.”
I don't agree with this. First, wearing shoes that come to a point make me feel like an elf, which is weird. Second, and more practical (but still somewhat elf related), shoes that come more to a point or that can be rounded out add extra and unnecessary length to the shoe. For us taller gentlemen, adding two inches to my already size 13 shoe just starts to make things awkward and needless.
