I really like what this guy is doing with his tie. From a female pov, that's cool. (Wouldn't expect most of you guys to connect with his overall :style: though).

The tie bar is way too much...he should remove that. Functionally speaking its meant to hold a tie in place and with a fully buttoned vest theres no point, not to mention the placement of it is way too high (obviously just so it can be seen). With all the stuff going on in that tie knot it just ends up being too much in that area of his outfit.

Yeah, it's good if you're my bartender or bringing me food but that's about it.

Cool knot, I can't use that in my line of work though. Could be fun for social gatherings, but I'm rather anti-hipster.

Trend I've noticed at the gym lately: Over the ear headphones. I get that they have great sound, but really?
these kids don't know about B&O....Dre Beats is the bomb yo and people know I'm rich, b.Nothing worse than iPod buds so props to my fellow audiophiles (even though Beats are pricey for what you get).

Problem with that knot is it's too big...and the only way to get that affect is with multiple wrapping which make it impossible to get a smaller knot.Large tie knots are out, unless you're Meril Hoge

MP3 player/Dr Beats=audiophile? Man, I've lost touch. Seem a bit intrusive to workout with.

Guess you never lived in NYC or commuted much by foot/train. Quality headphones with noise cancellation are a must if you appreciate sound. Sure, I'd love to bring my Technics, vinyl and Harmon system everywhere but convenience is a factor whilst in transit.

I've grown to love my Sennheiser (HD 280 Pro, I think, I got them like 5 years ago now, need something new soon) over-the-ear phones, but I can't imagine wearing them to the gym. The earbuds don't give me the sound quality when I'm working out, but maybe it's not a huge deal cause I'm usually just listening to sports talk radio anyway. I don't have a pair of Dre's but they don't look significantly less bulky than Sennheisers.IMO, taking a train to work is a different story, and nothing wrong with over-the-ear phones in that case. Then again, I am only marginally fashionable.

Yeah, when I say noise cancellation I'm not referring to these bulky Beats or Bose pieces. I have a cheaper pair of Sennheiser for the gym and B&O for travel: http://www.shopbangolufsen.com/Bang-Olufsen-EarSet-3i-Black/dp/B0051UOUNM?traffic_src=froogle&utm_medium=organic&utm_source=froogle

And then again, I wouldn't expect you to know my :style: to begin with
Educated guess...hipster and fantasy football board are an odd mix. Not out of the realm of possibility, certainly, but unlikely. Plus I can see you all

The knot in of itself is cool.

it's cool but not practical unless you're in the entertainment/service biz

I've been using over ear headphones for years. Has nothing to do sound quality for me it's just less of a pain in the ### when lifting and working out.

I've been stocking up on long-sleeve shirts from ONE90ONE recently, loving them. Getting them cheap from PLNDR.com, Gilt.com, and Fab.com flash sales, around $20 each. Only downside is that they often use square buttons, which get nicked up at the cleaners once in a while. But if I have to replace a few, so be it.

Shirts don't look bad. A poor man's Paul Smith.

Good deal on these shoes...just bought some.

I now have a pair of leather and suede dessert boots...anyone have any tips/products on waterproofing and keeping the suede clean?

btw, to all my frugal fbgs out there, www.mrporter.com is having a great summer sale (80% off) all that nice designer garb (Paul Smith, Varvartos and other brands you probably don't know).
