Those pants look like really really bad jeans.
These are the last people on the list I care about.MarvinTScamper said:None of these are really rules. I follow them tho.
As far as button downs go, it's because a button down collar is casual. It was created for "country clothes" and its casual. It clashes with a suit for some people. I knew an absolute clothes horse who did it just to say "f u" to people who thought they knew better.
Like I said, they're rules to some people, but they're antiquated and optional. Just know people are judging.
yeah, I didn't like the pants either...hence the "kind of"Those pants look like really really bad jeans.
which is exactly how it should be. F em.These are the last people on the list I care about.
I prefer "classic."MarvinTScamper said:Like I said, they're rules to some people, but they're antiquated and optional.
boss's ordersTell us again why you are not wearing a suit?
Simple white button down long sleeve cotton shirt. Light grey pants. Medium blue linen coat. White cotton pocket square. Brown belt/loafers. No socks.
not wearing a traditional two piece.Does that mean no jacket or just you aren't wearing a traditional 2 piece suit?
Then #### them as that's all I wear here in country Oklahoma.MarvinTScamper said:None of these are really rules. I follow them tho.

I like the jacket/shirt combo, hate the pants.
much like What Not To Wear, don't get caught up in mirroring the EXACT look presented but use it as a guideline.I like the jacket/shirt combo, hate the pants.
agreed. Couldn't find a photo to COMPLETELY resemble what I wanted to portray. Not everyone has my style, I guess.I like the jacket/shirt combo, hate the pants.

You sure about that?by the way...if you have the ability to go with a patterned jacket, ALWAYS do so. The chicas much much MUCH prefer some panache. The white cotton pocket square with a jacket like this = can't keep the women off with a stick.
BONUS: THOSE GRAY PANTS LOOK TILT
Get rid of the bow tie and this is you.not wearing a traditional two piece.
98% i wear a sportcoat/jacket
Yes, I got matching pocket squares for my groomsmen and dad's from them. They threw in a pair of comfy socks to sample with my order (a size too big, but free is free). Good product & service. A++++ Would buy from again.anyone shopped at https://www.thetiebar.com/ ?
trying too hardWhat do you guys think of the Eldredge tie knot?
I used it once for an outdoor summer wedding, but nobody noticed until I pointed it out. Then they thought it was cool. Too damn hard to tie though.
Absolutely certain. If you haven't done it, you wouldn't know.
I'm willing to bet this wasn't the favorite look for female Don Draper fans.Absolutely certain. If you haven't done it, you wouldn't know.
You can keep this up all you want. Being wrong about this won't help your sense of fashion. I'm just telling you what WORKS.I'm willing to bet this wasn't the favorite look for female Don Draper fans.
