i recall Branch starting like this his rookie year too. He faded after a couple of games.  Sounds like he's doing well though. Nice to see.
You know, it doesn't matter who plays on this first week of the season, you guys will always get pumped up over big performances. I said it last year and will say it again, IT IS THE FIRSTGAME OF THE ENTIRE SEASON!!!You all need to calm down and realize that in every game in every season, some players stand out more than others. Come talk to me about Branch after week 4. If he is still keeping it up then, I will drink the Kool Aid, but until then, put a lid on it.
I see your point; I mean, Laveranues Coles was the leading receiver in the opening game last year, and look how his season turned out.Oh....wait. :D
So now you are saying that Branch is equal to Coles? Like I said, if he is still doing it after week four, then come and talk to me.

So I guess you opted to pass on Anquan Boldin last season, too? :PI see your point & I agree for the most point--it's just one game. But you also can't discount the possibility that a big first game for a receiver is the start of a trend vs. an aberration.

In this type of offense, I would consider it an aberration until I see otherwise.

Anybody who drafted Daniel Graham fairly late in a TE-required league has to be happy with these first half stats.Daniel Graham: 5 receptions, 40 yards receiving.
Round 13. He's my backup behind Todd Heap (4.02). I think I've got the tight end position covered ok.

Round 17, backing up Gonzalez for me. I love all the targets for Graham. Makes me wonder if I should try to move him or Gonzalez to try to improve elsewhere. Decisions decisions...

isn't tackling a guy about to sack the quarterback a penalty this year?
Not in New England, you can fumble and then have the refs overturn the fumble, hold WR's at will and yes tackling guys attempting to sack is legal there this year.

Is there a legit fantasy player in this game not looking good? After all the talk about the weather, everyone looks good so far.

I tried telling people the weather in New England was going to be on-and-off drizzle, not a monsoon, but I didn't get a lot of believers. The big stuff will probably hit later.GG

I thought when you start dating a BABE you're suppose to go down the tubes like Tiger and Urlacher?? Did someone forget to tell Brady??

I benched Branch.. He's my no4 WR behind Chambers, Robinson and Steve Smith. I may have to rethink this next week?

its just 1 week. brown is out and dillon doesnt have too many carries. kudos for drafting him, but 2 and 1/2 qtrs is too small of a sample to say that branch will be god like

:useless: I'm not up to speed on NFL Player's Hot GFs...

Doesn't challenge all year last year, now challenges on a obvious fumble.. Looks like NE is gonna beat um again..

Not sure if he's legit anymore but a bit concerned that Pollard is MIA for Clark. Looks like torch is being passed?

:goodposting:Thank you!!Someone else with a voice of reason. It absolutley amazes me that people get this hyped up over one game and start talking stupid.

Tough fumble, Edge had been looking fantastic.Everyone has looked excellent fantasy wise, but I'm glad Harrison only has to go into NE once this year, he must not be getting open at all. I'll take the td and be happy he even got that.
