with the exception of mannings int I'd agree. Hopefully, he doesn't go back to his old form of throwing 20 int's a year.

Patriots D and Belicheck just got :own3d: by a scrambling Peyton Manning. 19 yds has to be a career long for him.
Peyton's 2003 rushing total: 42 yards.That was a great call on 4th & 1...no one expected it.

I benched Branch.. He's my no4 WR behind Chambers, Robinson and Steve Smith. I may have to rethink this next week?
its just 1 week. brown is out and dillon doesnt have too many carries. kudos for drafting him, but 2 and 1/2 qtrs is too small of a sample to say that branch will be god like
:goodposting:Thank you!!Someone else with a voice of reason. It absolutley amazes me that people get this hyped up over one game and start talking stupid.
What's not to like. Remember when Troy Brown was getting all those receptions?

 I didn't say god like. He's already got 7 catches for 86 yds! Thats more catches than he had in any one game last year. He's starting to look like a pretty solid no2 or 3 WR to me. What do you think?

Looks like Patten is the man now
Bristol is going to explode ala his fury over the Ashley Lelie hype early last year. I was a key part of that hype :bag: . Bristol was right then and with this NE offense floating everywhere, he looks to be right again. Branch will be hot this week and it should alternate. It would not suck to have Brady though.

Went back and forth last night, and really liked Brady, but I ended up starting Bulger instead because of the Arizona Matchup in one league.Hopefully not a Huge mistake.

The Patriots offense is looking excellent on opening night -- Brady's accurate passes all over the field, too many competent receivers to count, Dillon's rushing well -- if they perform consistently this way throughout the season they are gonna be really tough to beat. They've lived up to the hype during Week 1...

my opponent in my money league has Manning and Harrison...right now vinatieri and Graham on my squad are up 5 points on them  Gotta love a point per reception

Good Lord. I benched Branch for Harrison, Porter and DJax.....and benched Graham for Crumpler.
You did the right thing. My advice is never start playing poker. Its very possible to make the right play and still not win.

Well, I'll say this. All the anticipation for the season to start is being rewarded in a big way.ESPECIALLY for those with fantasy players making an impact tonight.Awesome!

A guy in my league was trying to get Brady+ from me for Vick. I told him that I would think about Brady for Vick straight up, but in the end I told hiim that I am not interested.

It looks like Graham's value should skyrocket after this game. I have him on the bench behind Gonzalez. Is it time to sell high?

Did Ben Watson move ahead of Fauria on the depth chart? Is Fauria hurt? Looking to be a non-factor this year. Heap for Daniel Graham trade anyone...anyone...

Bingo. I'd have benched Graham and Branch too. Don't look back.

With both Gonzales and Graham on your roster, you have a lot of trade leverage after Graham's performance tonight. Even after tonight, you'll still be starting Gonzales each week. Trade him now if you can, unless you can get made value for Gonzales (like a RB1 or WR1)...

Thanks for the backup Al!As you stated, I was the biggest opponent to Lelie last year and was right. Before tonight, everyone agreed that the Pats offense would spread the ball around a lot. In watching this game, I don't see anything differing from that. Branch is having a big game, yes. But lets wait and see if he continues to do so before we annoint him as the seond coming.

As long as Manning doesn't throw another INT I'll be happy. I don't want a negative score from him. Right how he's scored me a total of 3 points. That would be equalled by one tackle and one assist from my linebacker forman or SS wesley. our qb scoring sucks.

Boy, even here in Indiana this DRhodes thing is taking me by surprise. I drafted Rhodes cuz he is a player, but...I'm HOPING its just to keep Edge fresh? He has done alot of running so far. Fingers crossed that he won't be a vulture the whole season.

isn't tackling a guy about to sack the quarterback a penalty this year?
Not in New England, you can fumble and then have the refs overturn the fumble, hold WR's at will and yes tackling guys attempting to sack is legal there this year.

:D You thinking of the Colts playoff game last year against you guys.

;) :boxing: Fair enough!Just glad I started Graham tonight - didn't want to rely on Rod Smith against the Chiefs Sunday night for the victory!
