Yes, we all know he can't do without being in the limelight, but I think he fears Peyton Manning will break all his records someday. Truth be known, I'll bet that he loves that consecutive game streak more than a SB title.

I don't get all this talk about Favre needing the limelight. The guy never really did any commercials till extremely late in his career. Doesn't do the LA or the NY thing in the offseason. Never got busted in Vegas. Just goes back to his "farm." I'm sure he was invited to be on every pregame show out there in the playoffs when the Packers weren't in it and I can't remember him ever donning a suit and doing one of them. The only time I remember him being in the limelight outside of the football season was when he was addicted to the pain killers. So the guy only digs the limelight during the season but for the other few months he's content to disappear?

Ok, forget the limelight, because the purpose of the OP was to point out what I think the "other" reason for him wanting to come back.

Why? Hell, if others can start so many threads saying the same thing over and over, then I should be able to start one with a different twist. Forgive me if it's been stated in the million other Favre threads, because I sure as hell won't be reading through all of them.
