Same here. I like what I’ve seen and should watch more episodes. I thought about ranking it, but, in the end, just decided that I had not seen enough.I respect Twilight Zone but I just didn’t watch enough of it to rank it

That's awesome. Only Shatner could be The Big Giant Head.In the movie version, John Lithgow played the part William Shatner played in the tv show. Worlds collide in this scene in 3rd rock from the sun:Gremlin. The gorilla you remember is William Shatner. My only memory, and it's vague and possibly wrong... a gorilla on the wing of a commercial flight??? Weird stuff. Never watched much.I have a seen a few Twilight Zone episodes and they were good. It just wasn't a show I saw a lot of so I couldn't rank it.
How was your trip, Sir? Relevant part starts at the 1 minute mark.

We get it. You have zero originality.12 shows left - 11 are in my top 12 and the other is a highly rated show I never got around to watching but knew would rank well.
We get it. You ranked inferior shows so you could look “original”.We get it. You have zero originality.12 shows left - 11 are in my top 12 and the other is a highly rated show I never got around to watching but knew would rank well.
That, plus it helps I submitted 50 lists to stuff the ballot boxWe get it. You ranked inferior shows so you could look “original”.We get it. You have zero originality.12 shows left - 11 are in my top 12 and the other is a highly rated show I never got around to watching but knew would rank well.

The riding lawnmower in the office is pretty incredible too
I've seen a few twilight zone episodes. They were ok. I feel like I haven't watched enough to justify ranking it though.
I had Mad Men on my list so I started watchinh it a few days ago. Hamm is good but I'm waiting for , mind you I'm only a few episodes in, the story to move beyond "look how toxic these guys from the 60's are!"

That's great - never knew that scene existed. Right up there with the St. Elsewhere Coolidge/Salami crossover scene mentioned way back in the thread. In the movie version, John Lithgow played the part William Shatner played in the tv show. Some men who are mad in the 1950s

I'm pretty sure that all seven of my choices from 64 to 70, none of which have yet been revealed are certain to be top five.I see a lot of people are very proud of their top shows. By my count we have 37 top 5 shows still to be revealed.
I had Mad Men on my list so I started watchinh it a few days ago. Hamm is good but I'm waiting for , mind you I'm only a few episodes in, the story to move beyond "look how toxic these guys from the 60's are!"
I think season 1 is the weakest. It definitely builds and builds as it goes. Season 1 I just kind of an introduction to the world.I've seen a few twilight zone episodes. They were ok. I feel like I haven't watched enough to justify ranking it though.

WRONG!We get it. You ranked inferior shows so you could look “original”.
yes, the fact that I didn't rank it. I have a list of stuff to watch. Doesn't everyone?I had Mad Men on my list so I started watchinh it a few days ago. Hamm is good but I'm waiting for , mind you I'm only a few episodes in, the story to move beyond "look how toxic these guys from the 60's are!"
You put a show on your list that you didn't start watching until a few days ago?
Am I missing something there?

I misunderstood.yes, the fact that I didn't rank it. I have a list of stuff to watch. Doesn't everyone?
gotchyaPm me#63 - a popular sitcom that I know AAA also has on his list. Sitcoms in general didn’t fare that well in these rankings, so it’s not a huge surprise but still interesting not too many had this on their lists.
I’m still kind of blown away it won’t be in the top 300 - especially given the demographics in this forum. I think it will be the biggest injustice in this whole effort!
- it’s already in the PM thread we have going- day drinking?

Buy a pair or grow a pair?so they can go buy a pair
It was for sure much more fun. I mean two martini lunches.....enough saidIt was also wild to see how different working life was back then. Seemed more fun back then.
If you were a man with a white-collar job, sure. Everyone else, not so sure.It was also wild to see how different working life was back then. Seemed more fun back then.
I like to think of myself as a man with a white collar job.If you were a man with a white-collar job, sure. Everyone else, not so sure.It was also wild to see how different working life was back then. Seemed more fun back then.
Yeah that's the thing with the good old days. They weren't good for a lot of people. If you were a man with a white-collar job, sure. Everyone else, not so sure.It was also wild to see how different working life was back then. Seemed more fun back then.
It was like a great novel. Deep complex characters, intricately plotted, a tremendous number of small scenes that added up to something substantial.12 - Mad Men
Another great Roger line was when Lane Price and Pete Campbell get into a fistfight.Roger: "Right when he got it in the door."

Slattery owned Roger in a much similar way that Hamm owned Don. The one-liners are his trademark, but he expertly played Roger as the son who never lived up to his father's name (and knew it), was a bad husband and an aloof father. He also had seen horrible combat in the Pacific in WWII, which left deep emotional scars. The wit and wisdom of Roger Sterling
