I liked the movie. Steve Martin always makes me laugh. I've never seen the tv series.Parenthood was a good show that I just discovered about a year ago. I didn't care for the movie but this was nothing like the movie.

To be clear, the character not the actress. Why was she hated?
My 1.1 would be J.K. Simmons' character in Oz (I know how to say the character's name but can't spell it)If we did a draft on television characters that are hated, Mrs. Olsen would be my 1.1 pick!Little House
Always felt bad for her kind, sweet husband Nels.To be clear, the character not the actress. Why was she hated?
She was a petty, narrow-minded, selfish, bigoted woman who gossiped, lied, stole, and to top it all off she spoiled her kids rotten.
lol yeah, I just heard the nanny and that's where my mind wentOh, I just realized you might have meant The Nanny(Fran Dresser?). Her voice was akin to a thousand nails on a thousand blackboards.
Reminds me of the beginning of Twilight Zone: The MovieI'm still reeling that The Outer Limits didn't make the 300 cut. I know, I know it's kind of a rip off of The Twilight Zone
I liked Oz when it was on and gave it strong consideration but ultimately left it off my list because I didn't remember much of it and wouldn't take the time to rewatch it.My 1.1 would be J.K. Simmons' character in Oz (I know how to say the character's name but can't spell it)If we did a draft on television characters that are hated, Mrs. Olsen would be my 1.1 pick!Little House
Where did you rank Rick and Morty?Only two other jackasses? In this crowd?!
Right? I was one of them. Between this and Remote Control, I'm starting to question how cool this board is.
I was the other What's Happening fan. Not only were the characters great, but I gave it extra points because I think it was an important show for improving race relations in our country. It's the first show I remember watching as a kid where all the characters were black, and who knew that they were just as funny and cool as white people. I don't know how to do a spoiler alert, but when that cassette recorder fell out of Rerun's jacket and the band stopped playing, that's just an all time great TV moment.I had What's Happening!! at 40 and True Blood at 49.260-25
What's Happening!! reruns appeared regularly on one of Philly's UHF stations in the late '70s and early '80s, and I watched them frequently. I loved the characters and their chemistry, and as @zamboni will attest, the Doobie Brothers bootlegging episode is an all-time classic.
True Blood went off the rails in its final two seasons, but before that it was an entertaining mix of drama, mystery, fantasy and erotica. It is one of two series on my list that my wife and I watched together to be entertained and for the romantic aspects. Maybe we will see the other one.
I watched a few episodes of Get Smart back in the day but not enough to consider for my list. Have never seen anything else from this group.

She was great. Unfortunately, the actress (Danielle Spencer) did very little after WH, returned to guest appear on WH Now in the mid-'80s, and then left Hollywood to attend college and become a veterinarian.I loved Dee’s sarcasm.I was the other What's Happening fan. Indeed - sounds like she's one of the few that landed well post-childhood stardom. I'm sure that as the countdown goes on, we'll be talking about many of the ones that weren't so lucky.Probably a great life path for her. hear a lot of child actor fail stories out there. She was great. I (hopefully) will have a lot more to say about Oz when it comes up. I believe @Scoresman already said the top 100 would be done one at a time......it might have even been the top 200I hope that when we get to the top 100- or at least the top 50, that they’re counted down one by one, instead of 10 at a time, so that each show can get its own discussion.

There will be so much to discuss about Salute Your Shorts.I hope that when we get to the top 100- or at least the top 50, that they’re counted down one by one, instead of 10 at a time, so that each show can get its own discussion.
This starts once we get to 200.
happy to see TWIB in there. TWIB notes. Still remember those fondly. I enjoyed burn notice quite a bit. Good to see Yellowstone so low.240-231

I think that's criminally low for OMITB. Great show.
IT Crowd was the only hit for me on this batch. Good set of shows though.240-231

I didn't even think about this one but it was definitely a must watch every week.Glad four others had "This Week in Baseball". Catching this on a Saturday when I was a kid was everything to me. Mel Allen was my hero.
I had it on my list that just missed the cut. If it stopped after one or two seasons, it would have been on mine. Thought the concept got a bit tired.I think that's criminally low for OMITB. Great show.
I've been over Martin Short and Steve Martin for a long time, don't need to see or hear them anymore. It's a me issue, i knowI think that's criminally low for OMITB. Great show.
Had 3 from this list.240-231

Only one of my entries in this batch. Young Sheldon was at #19 for me. Probably a bit high but it was lumped with a bunch of shows that I just kind of listed as they were all kind of in the same tier/type for me and they had to be in an order. I enjoyed all the characters and Georgie and Meemaw were awesome. Just a well put together cast. I liked it better than it's predecessor by just a hair.240-231
