Appreciate the honesty and willingness to post something substantive.
thank you for not attacking me for stating  my view of things ...i know we dont all see things the same way...its just my opinion

i know i come in here and stir the pot ...but its only because anytime anyone who doesnt think or believe what the majority of the posters in these political threads think ,they pretty much get ganged up on and attacked...shouted down and belittled...so instead of stating my opinions i just say ''winning'' or something to that affect ...im saying what i think in one word and it sets people off...i wish it didnt set people off ...im serious ...i hate all the negative responses but at the same time the its fascinating how easy some people are  triggered...i have serious dialog with people who think or feel as i do...its almost impossible to have a serious dialog with the ''other side'' ...emotions are too high

lifes too short to spend it wringing my fists over things i have no control over...what Trump says or does is one thing...the results are another...if his locker room trash talk affected his presidency decisions id have an issue with it...if banging a porn star changed the economy id have an issue with it...im sorry if that sounds insensitive but this crap goes on all the time in this world ....it can be exhausting worrying about everything bad that is said or done.....if Trumps style of talking to other countries gets us into a war ill have a serious issue with it...but  so far it seems to have the opposite affect ...he definitely seems to  use the good cop / bad cop tactic...at least thats how i see it...im sure others see it differently ...i would never in a million years expect dems or republicans to give each other credit for anything...i watched how the right treated Obama...it wasnt good...and its now that way with Trump from the left...annd its still not good ...its ugly and tiresome ... i have friends who are obsessed with bashing Trump every single day...i know he gives people plenty of ammo but man...give it a rest ...take a month off and chill out lol....it cant be healthy
I'm not the left. I voted for Gary Johnson. TWICE.

As a NYer in Real Estate, I know all to well who and what Trump is and what he represents. Sorry, but decades of disgusting, racist, sexist, fraudulent behavior precludes me from respecting the decision to support such a terrible excuse for a human being.  And, imo, supporting someone who not only represents those things but actively looks to shape policy to effectuate suggests someone is at the least ok with it, if not desireous of those outcomes.

We can disagree on opinion, but not the facts. At be honest about the fact that it's not just "the left" nor Obama supporters that hold these views. That, in fact, is a common lie used here so kindly at least stop spreading that lie.

im not spreading lies lol....im assuming its the left that hates Trump so much ...and a smattering of others not affiliated with the left that feel the same way....im sorry if im not being specific to each and every persons affiliations...im not even sure how i would label that...the left and ''others'' i suppose ...anyways thanks for the talk...have a great day...off to play with my crazy puppy at the park

Since your primary concerns are economic and the economy is roaring at present, your support of Trump makes some sense.  It's refreshing to me.  Most of the pro Trump postings I see that are discussing policy outside of current stock market/GDP are either trying to just score cheap points against the anti-Trump crowd, are highly hypocritical or are flat trolling, IMO.  Postings expliaining why someone is pro-Trump that don't include anti- (Hillary, Obama, deep state, FBI, librul agenda, etc) are what I enjoy seeing.  Thanks.

This is pretty much an admission of trolling. I think there's probably a clinical word for someone who is so fascinated by other peoples' distress they intentionally cause other people distress, but whatever the condition is called, I don't find it admirable.

As far as having serious dialog - I'd recommend not leading with the whole stirring the pot angle. I find it distasteful that you come in here with that intent and then try to close it out with some admonition for others to relax and enjoy their day. That's not helping people get perspective, that's being annoying for no other purpose than being annoying and getting off on others' annoyance. Its no wonder why people won't choose to engage you in serious dialog when that's the bulk of what you put out there.

By all means point out facts.  You seem to have a very hard time determining facts and opinions.
They get pointed out all the time...that’s the point.  Someone above is claiming that when multiple people do it...they are being attacked.  I disagree.

Also, I have zero problem distinguishing between fact and opinion.  If you have specific examples to the contrary, please post them.  Or just run along.

Appreciate this response - many keep pushing that it's only the left, liberals and Dems that have these views when there are actually many such as me, a mix of libertarians, traditional conservatives, moderate reoublicans, independent and non affiliated.

:hifive:   from me and the countless other non-Democrats who think Trump is a danger to the nation.

well if i post ''winning'' and nothing else and i get people calling me a troll i wonder what they would say if i posted 'Trump is 'Losing'' ....or just 'Losing''....i am pretty sure hardly anyone on the left would say i was trolling...thats because you would agree with what i said....so honestly it only apprears to be trolling if its something you dont agree with

listen...i tried talking in the past...it always dissolves into a hate fest ...as far as being attacked its not everyone who attacks ...but certainly people like Officer Malloy are very quick to name call or insult......then before you know  it im resorting to the name calling as well...it sucks ...and i admit that in frustration i troll now and then ...for that i sincerely apologize

You post like the anti-trump- absolutely no caps, but have the dot dot dot thing down.

In all seriousness though it’s good advice to not get too worked up over stuff but also can’t get too complacent, it’s a catch 22.

I was thinking how awesome this place is going to be when Trump gets to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
When you say that Trump will replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg, you mean that he’ll select a judicial appointment to fill her seat, right? Not that Trump will be her replacement himself?

Because I have to say, based on the prospective entertainment value of the latter proposition, I wouldn’t be totally opposed to it. Live-tweeting oral arguments from the bench, misspelling multiple words per paragraph in dissent, making and sustaining his own made-up objections ... it all sounds kind of fun, to be honest.

Just remember while you're voting in November, under Conservative leadership, just this term, America is spending:

$30M for parade

$70M on Trump golf

$70M on Trump vacations

$233M separating immigrants

$12B for tariff bailouts

$70B for wall

Do you value any of those expenses?

Reminder: last year John Bolton called the Russian election interference "an act of war." Now as national security adviser he puts out an official statement calling investigation of said act of war "witch hunt."

There isn't a single American that voted for a wall that our tax money would pay to build.

Its not easy staying out of the mud. I drop down into it myself too often. But I do try to avoid it as much as I can. Keep trying. If we all did just a little bit better, I think the overall effect would be noticeable.

Some folks (all over the political/ideological spectrum) do spend most of their time doing the schtick and insult routine. I just try and accept that for the most part, some of it is actually funny (Tanner and HellToupe make me laugh pretty frequently), ignore it mostly, and move on.
