I wonder if Tiger has considered going to the PGA/TV Networks and negotiating a cut of the TV money for tournaments he plays in. If the ratings are so much more when he plays, it seems he might have leverage to do something like that. Not that he really needs the money.....

I wonder if the PGA has considered going to Tiger and charging him an entrance fee to cover the costs of liability insurance when he duck hooks drives into peoples noggins.

I've been trashing him, but the interview I just watched on CBS was pretty cool. Pretty humble.

It is nice to see Tiger seemingly have fun. A big change from stone-cold assassin kill everyone and just win. And I think Tiger made the younger guys on the PGA now more competitive.

I spend my late afternoon on Sundays fixing food for the week, drinking some booze, and often having friends over. we like watching the young guys that we believe were definitely influenced by Tiger.

Easily Tiger’s best round since he has come back which might seem obvious considering he fired a 62. Beyond the great score, he was in total control of his game. The course was there to be had yesterday and could be even easier for the weekend after getting some rain later today.

First time we’ve seen all aspects of his game fully in control. Irons and putter on fire, and he’s also actually hitting fairways with a driver. Entirely possible it all falls apart before Sunday, but man, if not, look out.

I went to the Saturday round last weekend near Boston. Even in the shadows of the most racist city in the universe, after a lackluster opening round, Tiger-mania was full tilt. Once he teed off around 1pm there may as well have been no other threesome on the course - fairways lined 3 deep two holes ahead of his group waiting for him to come through. The crowd at the range watching him warm up was nuts. The buzz and energy he creates...man, you really have to see it and feel it in person to fully appreciate it. I saw him play a couple of times in person before "the troubles" and it was a spectacle, but its at another level now. He's the rare living and breathing person who's achieved mythical status while still alive.
