There’s always the senior tour. He may be able to qualify.About how long does it take to become the #1 ranked golfer again? Asking for a friend.
@OtisBTW I’m available for more bets on majors this season. Maybe one of you guys will be smart enough to place sensible conditions on your end of the bet.
He's amazingly boring and seems to be a scumbag I find it hard to see myself wanting to be a big fanboy for him. If he gets it back I'm pretty sure if he's playing on Sunday I'm pulling for the other guy. I may be an outlier here.Yeah don't get the tiger hate.
The game of golf is more interesting by 100x when tiger is playing at an elite level. He reached a level that will never be duplicated in my lifetime. How many years was he#1 in a row? He had a couple seasons where he won every third tournament he played. Just crushed.
I would welcome a version of tiger that could win one major a year.
very strange ideology, imo. He's amazingly boring and seems to be a scumbag I find it hard to see myself wanting to be a big fanboy for him. If he gets it back I'm pretty sure if he's playing on Sunday I'm pulling for the other guy. I may be an outlier here.
Of course it will be great for golf if he's good again but I think I'm only pulling for him to be good so I can be a hater![]()
I appreciate the Pats but I also love seeing them lose.
Sure. Maybe it's team sports as opposed to this individual sport, I don't know. Just don't find myself rooting for him to win or dominate again, If he wins I don't really care either.very strange ideology, imo.
a lot of the "best" of any particular era/sport/occupation are scumbags. Half the guys we root for are on some drug, cheat or otherwise are morally flexible. It is what it is.
If Tiger were to get back to contending in majors and lost a couple heartbrakers but won one that would satisfy the haters and the fans.
I agree. Three amateur titles (what 2 with epic comebacks?) and just dominating the pga from the get go while being under the microscope since he was an early teen. Tiger was a once in a lifetime. Shame that 9 iron to the noggin ruined everything.Jordan was the only person similar to Tiger in his heyday. Will never see that again
Roger Federer was as dominant as TigerJordan was the only person similar to Tiger in his heyday. Will never see that again
This describes 50% of the guys on the tour. He's amazingly boring and seems to be a scumbag
Sure, if Tiger happened to suck at one of the 4 majors.Roger Federer was as dominant as TigerJordan was the only person similar to Tiger in his heyday. Will never see that again
I first read that as crabs instead of carbs.mr roboto said:Yeah he’s puffy. Kinda looks like he’s retaining some water from some meds and/or carbs.
Yes...but tennis...and he isn’t American. And tennis.Roger Federer was as dominant as Tiger
You do realize that not everyone agree with that, right?Yeah don't get the tiger hate.

I was gonna ask, "Wayne Gretzky down?", but his dominance far surpassed anything else we've seen in sport in our lifetime, so I decided not to.Jordan was the only person similar to Tiger in his heyday. Will never see that again
Get out of here with this crap. We're talking champions here.Bonds.
Yes, he's down. Hockey at that time was more regional. Golf and basketball were all over. Both propelled the sport to another level. You do realize that not everyone agree with that, right?
A lot of really good young golfers right now and it's fun to watch the majors on the weekend without knowing that one guy is probably going to win.

Bonds numbers are ridiculous.Get out of here with this crap. We're talking champions here.
Really? 50% of the tour are known to be cheating on their wife and abusing drugs? Shut the whole thing down then IMO.This describes 50% of the guys on the tour.
Had so many putts burn edges. He was off in the wind. It happens. He’ll shoot 66 tomorrow.Only 4 players under par today. It was tough course with the wind.
I wouldn’t write him off with a +3 today.
Um, we are talking golf. Tennis is way more of an athletic competition.Yes...but tennis...and he isn’t American. And tennis.

Glutes not activating and the back will go out soon....Grimacing about how bad he still is. Name changed to Bogey Woods.
That's not what hosed Tiger. It was the PEDs on top of the weight training that hosed Tiger.
Not a big fan of Tiger but agree with thisTiger's score this week is irrelevant, if he completes today's round without any discomfort than this has been an unmitigated success. His swing looks good and his putting has been solid. Tiger has never been the straightest driver of the ball but he has looked solid off the tee. The chipping has been a little suspect but nothing like the yips he had a few years back, most just rusty from lack of tourney golf.
I hope he keeps it up and gets to April playing well. I don't see him winning another tourney let alone a major again but it would be great if he could contend at the Masters for a few days.
And the eagle has landed.Drove the par 4 on 7. Liking his game right now.
He has no chance to win no matter what he shoots. But with a good round he gives his supporters what they want most hope.Does he get a green jacket if he wins this no-name tournament?
