TNF: Bengals Vs Browns! Powerhouse matchup of the best 2 NFL teams in Ohio! (1 Viewer)

You are clearly just a hater in that case

Not a knock--I am that way with some rival players too like John Elway. F him: not a top 10 all time QB--Matt Ryan is better than Elway ever was

But for someone with no attachment to either: Zeke is the elite of the elite. That's just a fact

Carried a Cowboys team with a rookie QB that had gone 4-12 the previous year to the 1 seed, the team looked terrible when he was suspended the next year (a year in which he nearly got 1000 yards in half a season and does so with 400-600 receiving yards a year and a full load with no injury issues
Not a hater at all. I just think he's a tier 2 RB. He's just ok in the passing game(so is Chubb to be fair) and is a very good, but not elite rusher.

The Cowboys weren't really a 4-12 team starting a rookie QB. They were a playoff team, that went 4-12 the year before with a ton of injuries. They went from Romo to Weeden at QB. Having a good QB was the difference, Zeke was merely a small part.

Prescott is a better QB than anybody Chubb has had. Dallas has had a better o-line too. They have averaged about the same YPC with Zeke than without. Not just when they had Murray, but guys like McFadden, Morris, R.Smith and Pollard are in there.

Remind me not to start a 32 yr old WR who hasn't played for a year and a half and has to come back and play on a short week.

while we're on break, let's reflect on what a great sports day this is even with the Browns on a national televised game against the Bungles. US Open all day, NFL is on, NBA conference finals on. For awhile it didn't seem possible, sniff sniff.

carry on.

I like the short term IR, is that permanent or just this year?
COVID-19 rule: In 2020, a player going on injured reserve is allowed to return after missing only three weeks, and teams may return an unlimited number of players from injured reserve throughout the year. In a normal year, a player can't return from injured reserve unless he has missed at least six weeks' worth of practice and eight weeks' worth of games, and teams are limited to two players per year that they can return from injured reserve.

This year, a player on injured reserve can return to practice after three weeks. Once a team activates a player from injured reserve, it has 21 days to return him to the active roster. Reserve/COVID-19 is separate than injured reserve. Players on that list may return whenever they clear the testing protocol.

needs to be short term going forward. it is so dumb that IR was permanent. one of the dumbest changes they ever made.
It is short term, they shortened it even more

They changed it a few years ago to 6 weeks

Snap count Chubb to Hunt is ridiculous.
Its probably what to expect when they aren't down by 14+  like they were against the Ravens.

I'm a little surprised they haven't been using both together like they did a year ago. I guess some of that was lack of TE talent?
