**TNF on Prime Video - Cowboys at Giants** (+6, 45.5) 8:15 (1 Viewer)

I like the Giants here.

Cowboys are a mess.
Dallas 33...Cleveland 17 in Cle
NY Giants 21...Cleveland 15 in Cle

Dallas wins by 16 and New York wins by 6 vs the same common opponent
MoP Math...16-6=10 or here we'll say Dallas -10 because MoP doesn't share your optimism about the Giants tonight, this is must win territory for Dallas

Dallas 31...New York 21

My heart says NY, my head says DAL. I have no feel for these teams, but recent history suggest this is a game that DAL should win if they are a playoff-caliber team.

So once again we get America's Former and The NFL's most over hyped team in Prime Time.
Here's a little tidbit,The Boyz are averaging 270 passing yards a game so far,The G-Men are giving up 186 passing yards a game so far.
Here's another fun stat. The Boyz are giving up 186 rushing yards a game so far. The G-Men are averaging 105 rushing yards a game so far.
The turnover margins are very close,The Boyz are even,The G-Men are -1.
Dak Prescott is 12-2 against The G-Men in his career.
The Boyz are 9-1 in their last 10 games against The G-Men with The G-Mens only win in the last 10 coming in January of 2021!
So what does all this mean?
I have no idea.
G-Men will be without several players in their secondary,so I think Dak and CeeDee could feast.
If The G-Men stick to running the ball against what has been a very generous Boyz run defense they could make this interesting into the fourth quarter.
It's divisional rivalry in Prime Time,I think it'll be close but in the end I'll say...

America's Former Team- 33
Meadowlands Marauder's- 23

It’s a rare Thursday Night game where I have 3 players going (Dak,Furguson and Nabers). Not sure I’ve ever had that before. Either going to be really happy heading into the weekend or really nervous. Hoping for a high scoring shoot out.

Dallas 35
GMen 28

Cowboys can't possibly lose to the Giants... Can they?
If teams just commit to running the ball against Dallas, anyone can beat them. They have proven this over the past few seasons. The Cowboys had a really good team last year (a tremendous amount of all pro players, sad!) but still got run over and out when they played Josh Dobbs and the Cardinals.

And they basically have the same exact defense, just less quality players on it, and they are a VERY light team.

Power running is the way to go.

Now, I don't know if the Giants are that smart though.

Game looked like a dud preseason... and now it's a "must win" for DAL given their upcoming schedule.

Troy Aikman reported that this is the first time ever that the Cowboys have traveled for a TNF game... can that be right, or perhaps he was joking?

DAL traveling on and playing with tight sphincters... if they don't jump out early, it could be the beginning of the end of their Exceptionally Adequate Dynasty.

Gimme the upset: NYG 27, DAL 24, happy retirement Mike McCarthy.

Not a fan of either team but I do have Nabers and the Dallas kicker in fantasy. Thus my prediction is Cowboys 18 (6 FGs) - Giants 14 (Malik x 2).
I think with the lack of NYG WR, Nabers is going to see double teams tonight and Robinson will have a decent game..

Still think Dallas wins pretty easily tonight tho.

It is true what Aikman said.
Every other team in The NFL has had at least 6 times when they played on a Sunday and then travelled for a Thursday Night game
The Cowboys have had none until tonight.

Cowboys passing numbers are inflated by two games with significant garbage time.

Don't care who wins, as I have no interest in either team or their division, but this game is huge for me fantasy-wise. I want tons of passing yardage and no FG's.

If the Dallas gameplan is anything but bracket coverage every play for Malik Nabers, they need to fire Zimmer. 7-man box, bracket Nabers, make ANYONE else beat you.

For the Giants, they need to get constant pressure, because they can't cover Lamb and co.

I think this is a get right spot for Dallas. 27-17 Cowboys.

Is "The Jinx" live tonight?
Every Talking Head on The Prime pregame show just picked Dallas.

I think so. Dallas is not great in the trenches and the Giants just looked really impressive on both lines. Dallas gambling secondary looks awful. Nabers is a freak. Jones has been fine, and he runs some. Dallas has the worst run D on earth. I'm a very negative Cowboys fan. These experts are all remembering last year. This team seems different. Hope they prove me wrong.

Not sure if you're watching but what Whitworth said about the Giants' investment in both lines. Yup. Expecting turmoil and chaos in Dallas after this one.
